I wasn't surprised at all. The less they add on launch the more they can add in expansions for more money. Bigger picture. It may be a sad truth but it is still a truth that they like money more than fan happiness with overall class selection. It's a free to play game as it is, they need to make their money somehow.

I'm wondering if there will be any other "Your Foundry Quest is A+++mazing" Rewards. Getting a 5 star rating on missions and only getting a forum border sounds kind of bleh, but the in game currency is pretty awesome. :D

I just hope that people aren't allowed to 'choose' what kind of treasure drops in their creations and that it's completely random or at least mostly random. Running the dungeon once or twice killing a weak boss and getting great treasures for it is lame.

Aren't drow a playable race? Every game I've played ever with drow or even a dark skinned elf available had a massive sect of 'drow' players. Even UO had its own Drow RP section. At least on my server.

I don't think that Gods should be focused on as to what they are being focused on now. Meaning, I don't think we should be thinking about 'killing' gods at all. The Beta "pool" as you said is just that, like fishing in a pool. Not everyone is granted access, and there are some people with accounts who won't get in at all. Pre-Ordering the TL-2 game gets you a key regardless.

Even D3 has Dyes at least. So I think you'll at least be able to dye your stuff. I don't really know why the ability to change the colors of items went away for a while. It's been a fun and great way to customize your experience since UO and Dark Age.
