When an epic mount sells for about $35, charging about $56, (after a supposed 30% discount, mind you), seems completely in line with their pricing scheme, for an account-wide legendary mount, IMO.
So it appears they just replaced the old guild gear with the new stuff, so that's pretty cool. As for fishing - I found the guy selling lures in the Chult city, and there's 2 scientists standing near him that mention some place you can fish, but is there anything in game that directs you as to where you should go? You guys…
I peeked at the companion in-game, and one of the companion's abilities, (I think it's the level 30 one), gives you a pretty significiant bonus to lifesteal chance, (but I think it's tied to however many enemies the werewolf has infected and turned to werewolves). This doesn't seem like a logical companion for a guardian…
I will try that and let you know. Thanks! Update: So I tried the -d3d9 switch like you mentioned, but the crashing still occurs. Any other suggestions? 2nd Update: I tried several other permutations, but it still wouldn't work. I had an SSD sitting around that I've been meaning to put into the laptop, so I took this…
Over the past few days, the game crashes after launching it and getting to the 'Cryptic' loading screen, even in safe mode. This is on my laptop, (desktop works fine). Like I said, this only started happening recently. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions? I've already tried multiple reboots, have no other programs running,…
For me, a big part of the issue is the drastic drop in the pace of leveling and gating of content once you hit 60. I tend to roll a lot of alts, and after playing 1-60, and getting used to that, then having to the the Minsc intro quests and the slog of EE, it just becomes less palpable.
The red slaad is in the in-game collections, but it's a defender, not a striker, so look under that category. So just as an update - the red slaad does not appear in the collection until AFTER it gets placed into your inventory, (I couldn't find it on a character that hadn't yet claimed the pack). Here's a screenshot (from…
The problem with housing is one of utility - look at Champions Online, where they implemented personal housing; It took a fair bit of work to implement, and while they look cool, the actual usefulness that they offer is limited. Short of roleplaying reasons, what would you expect from player housing? Many of the…
It's a matter of immaturity + anonymity + frustrating game mechanics. If they simply made it so the enemies dropped the items, that said items were assigned to each player individually, and that you had to deal X% of the damage in order for an enemy to drop the item, then there wouldn't be these issues.
Here's what I'd suggest, (and please keep in mind that this is my preference): 1. Tanking Paladin 2. Devoted Cleric 3. Control Wizard 4. Great Weapon Fighter, (I like to have an off-tank specced GWF on my team) 5. This last slot is kind of open - you could go for a debuffing Warlock, or a buffing Ranger - any class that…
Since D&D dealt with a DM and players, one could use powers in widely varied ways - here, you are very restricted in how, where, and in what way you can use said powers. Thus, a power which may not do a lot of direct damage may have a lot of utility to someone who can think creatively. That last option isn't available…
Rimefire, for control wizards, is basically an effect that kicks in if the target is affected by both smolder and chill. From my understanding, it simply extends the duration of one or both effects.
You can reclaim the items from the pack over and over again - the only catch is that the option to do so will be greyed out if you already have the item in your inventory or personal bank. Please note that once you apply the appearance to another item, the hood will be destroyed, so you will be able to reclaim it as…
To me, it's not so much about min/maxing, it's about power A simply not being as good, overall, as power B. I have no doubt that an experienced player can get through all the PvE content with nearly any power combination, it's just that some powers are objectively better than others, so the underperformers should be…
What they should do is this: The first time you get to a point in a dungeon where a cutscene would play, you instead get a popup that says "Cutscene unlocked!". You can then go to the event contact and interact with them to watch that cutscene.
I'm not expecting there to be "true balance", but at least a concerted effort to make the majority of powers for any given class attractive to use - not just the 3 or so powers that are "must-have's".
I'm not talking about historically, where alchemy kind of became chemistry. I'm talking about in-game, where you create potions that do stuff. What would be the functional difference, mechanics-wise, between what an herbalist makes and what a alchemist makes? You want enough distinction between what each profession does,…
