I was wondering the same thing- completely forgot about the companions, especially since I don't plan on paying for any better ones & I have the worst luck on gaining them (or anything good) from lockboxes, etc.

I don't know if I discovered a bug in Pt2 Gauntlet of the Twin Teeth or I'm missing something, but I got stuck at the respawn fire near gates 3 & 5 . Basically I was fighting rats in the gate puzzle areas when I died and respawned at the fire. My problem is that all the gates I can access on this side- 3,5,10, & 12- won't…

FYI Mharuut's rune was nowhere near chipolte. He's hanging in the cave with the two teleport areas and it was not anywhere in there- and outside in the larger cave is not where I would consider "near" him either. Sorry if I sound abrupt- I actually like this quest very much
