  • Thanks guys...this is exactly the kind of feedback I need for this one. As with my previous quest, I tend to overpopulate the combat maps at the initial publish, and need to scale back a bit. I just didn't want these big labyrinthine caverns to be desolate since they were meant to be a goblin community. But thanks to…
  • The gamebreaking issue on Goblin Grotto should be resolved now. And there was much rejoicing... yay. That adventure now has its own thread now as well: Goblin Grotto Thanks, and sorry again. Turns out the respawn point was just pointing in the wrong direction... :(
  • CHANGE LOG 1.2 -Hobgoblin Commander Snork had his name/group name reversed to match the other 3 commanders. -The clicky designating the "lock" on Pesty's cage has been moved slightly to hopefully differentiate it from the clicky for Pesty himself. -Big Bad Jo Jo had an unfortunate accident and fell down Da Pooper, never to…
  • Hey there Chieori... sorry about that. I'll take a look at what's going on there... That part of the map was done long ago, before the addition of the 3D editor, so there's probably something simple there that's whacked out right now. Seems like every time I put in a little cutscene like this as a joke, it goes awry and…
  • Some notes while I play: -Quest tracker says "Go to mountains" but map says "Ancient Ruins." No biggie, but a little confusing -A number of typos in dialog...again, no biggie, but worthy of polishing -Maps look good! -In Wind Walking, there's a lot of walking and it gets a bit tedious, perhaps break it up with an encounter…
  • Excellent quest! As someone who spends forever to make beautiful maps, I definitely appreciate the attention to detail! For some reason in the caves, after using the orb to open the gate, I was teleported back to the entrance. Weird, and probably not something usual or intended. Anyway... beautiful maps, good encounters,…
  • Chapter 1 is up! I still have a few tweaks I'd like to do and it needs a handful of decorations and sounds and some general polish, but it's 98% done and ready for some initial feedback. Please give it a run if you have a chance, and let me know what you like/don't like! THE VAALYR PROPHECY Ch. 1: Goblin Grotto…
  • Shameless bump. Chapter 1 is down to working out the dynamic boss fight, so HOPEFULLY will be released soon. In the meantime, enjoy Misty Hollow. XD
  • This new system MIGHT help some, but I still don't get why two simple fixes couldn't be implemented: 1) Add subtabs to the BEST: BEST ALL-TIME, BEST THIS MONTH, BEST THIS WEEK, BEST TODAY... That way the insanely awesome Foundries could still be found, but newer standouts could have a chance to at least be seen besides a…
  • I posted an almost identical solution a few times in the Foundry forum, although more focused on allowing an author to give loot drops throughout the adventure (in hidden areas, chests, whatever), that would be calculated up to a budgeted reward at the final chest (find half the widgets, get half the level-appropriate…
  • A thousand thanks, and I'm glad you had fun! Congrats on finding all but one of the Polyhedrons... which one did ya miss?
  • LOL... Actually spent most of July on a massive road trip, sorry 'bout that. :D And no worries--you found a way there, so no biggie. There's an opening in the rocks on the second floor that leads to a long ledge over and around the stairway. Hop down onto the arch, then enter a secret room that has a hole that drops you…
  • I'm always looking for plays to pump me up as I work on the next installment. :) Details in sig if you want to check out a story-driven romp through my darkly humorous insanity... :)
  • Yeah, I wish they would throw us a bone here, and let us put in a maximum of X skill nodes/chests per map/foundry/whatever... and then put in some kind of failsafe of only half of those would even have worthwhile loot. I'm all for even getting a few junk vendor items just to have SOME kind of reward system in place. I like…
  • Glad you two enjoyed it! As a big fan of your campaign, Zovya, I'll be curious to see what effect you swipe... :) Karitr, you're now officially listed as the first to find all seven Polyhedrons of Power... CONGRATS!!! I, too, was a fan of hunting the datacrons in ToR. The Purple SHOULD be pretty easy, if you go the right…
  • +1 Mine is languishing in the abyss at 70-something plays/53 reviews and an adjusted rating of 3.96, even though the average rating is 4.5. Sure, I agree with everything in the Anti-Exploit thread, but that's only ONE problem. Quests in the bottomless pit below the Best list will NEVER be seen by the average player unless…
  • If you don't mind pushing your time limit a couple minutes, mine is languishing in the void at about 75 plays. It's doable in 45 minutes, less if you ignore the optional easter egg hunt, but I think the average is around 48. It's definitely story-driven and has received overwhelmingly positive reviews. Combat should be…
  • Mine is languishing in the void and could always use some plays. It runs about 45 minutes, is heavy on story, and the combat isn't too tough. Custom environments and mobs... special effects... an optional easter egg hunt... Neverwinter's first in-game birth... and a full day's supply of vitamin C. It has a bit of meta…
  • Bumping for the holiday weekend. :) Plus I've been out of town and haven't had a chance to fix all the tiny little problems some of the Foundry updates apparently caused. Spent a couple hours last night moving dozens of objects back to their original spot. If you catch any more floating objects, let me know! Have fun!
  • Outstanding work. Like someone pointed out is that some female mobs have male voices, and the only other thing I would do differently is that most groups of mobs are in a tight little group that just stands there. Maybe spread them out a bit or set them to wander a short distance or something. At one point, I knocked a mob…
  • My first quest has been praised for the story and environments, so give it a try if you get a chance. Details in the sig. Thanks!
  • If you don't mind a quest that has a bit of tongue-in-cheek pop culture humor, mine's focused on the story. Info's in the sig if you want to give it a shot.
  • Mine's in the sig, if I squeezed in at the last second... :) Thanks!
  • I'd love a review and video for mine if you get a chance. The Vaalyr Prophecy-Prologue: Misty Hollow NW-DISM87G71 Thanks!!!
  • That's sort of what I did in my quest. I actually have 5 versions of my village: afternoon (normal), evening (very small area blocked in by invisible walls, with a few minor changes hinting that something wicked this way comes), night (village is on fire, trees have fallen down, undead attacking, dogs and cats living…
  • Sound will be awesome. I do need to go back and add some appropriate boss battle music to my final fight, but other than that, I piled on a LOT of sound long before I knew sounds weren't working in Live. So it'll be nice for people to get to experience it as intended. And the BIRTH will be all the more awesome. Muah ha ha…
  • In the meantime, just make another account, level a new character to 15, and bam, 10 more slots. :)
  • Congrats, and thanks for the great adventure! I had a number of LIGHTBULB! moments running it. :)
  • A simple solution: add a second daily quest that rewards AD for playing a Foundry quest you haven't played before. Combined with a better search system and some of the other ideas here, it wouldn't make the system PERFECT, but it would help a LOT. I do like the idea of rewarding Foundry-exclusive gear at level 60 as well.
  • Since nobody has found all of the Polyhedrons of Power yet, here are some brief hints on where they are: 1. RED - The red PoP is given away as a freebie at the start of the adventure. 2. ORANGE - Located in the first Misty Hollow village map. The drunk dwarf can give you a clue as to its location if you share his love of…
