  • The buttons are perfectly named: Need, Greed, Pass. I seldom need anything personally, but that is because I don't need the items. I have plenty of gold and my purchase came with enough AD's to last quite a while. But, if I lose a Blue to someone because they rolled Need and I rolled Greed, its because he/she needed it and…
  • Its not about fanboys or doomsayers. Its about understanding definitions and purpose. Neverwinter is incomplete. That is why it is called a beta. Raging about how incomplete when it is a Free Beta is like someone complaining that a house under construction has no windows. Of course it doesn't...its not finished yet. As for…
  • Amazing. Thank you so much :)
  • Bump. Last night I was playing with a group in the Mad Dragon dungeon. Our cleric just up and left. We could not complete the mission as we stalled on the boss. The group itself was great and we all talked about what to do and all decided to leave together. But the main problem we ran into was being unable to call on…
  • I play at night where I live (between 1:00AM and 4:00AM forum time) and I have never really had a problem queueing. Last night, I was queued for less than two seconds (no joke). The night before less than a minute. The longest time I have ever spent queueing was when I was introducing a friend to the game and it took four…
  • "MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER online role-playing games (MMORPGs) are fully developed multiplayer universes with an advanced and detailed visual and auditory world in which players create an individualistic character. MMORPGs provide the only setting in which millions of users voluntarily immerse themselves in a graphical virtual…
  • Just in case you are serious :P WOW stands for World of Warcraft, a really big and long-lived MMO.
  • I've read this a couple of times. Interesting metaphor. Unforuntely, I don't understand it :P
  • Interesting comment about the activity of the forums being an indicator of the life of the game. Really interesting. You don't think that the game is dying and you don't think people who say such things are disgruntled WOW players. I am beginning to think that the hypothesis of this thread is incorrect, but we'll see.…
  • Awesome. I would love to read such a dissertation. Fair enough though, you are saying that there is no WOW conspiracy that is just a fact of life with new online RPGs. Thanks for your reply. Please correct me if my summary of your statement is wrong.
  • Right. I agree with you 100% Thanks for clearing that up :)
  • So...you don't agree with the thread's initial question? I am taking it that you do not think its possible. Thanks for the reply. Oh, and I agree that objectivity is a seldom found element on the internet.
  • Let's be fair. Not necessarily everyone who is negative on the forums is looking for attention for attention's sake. But imivo is definately on the money that people 'looking for attention' tend to take that route. Thanks for the reply.
  • Lol! Thanks for the advice. And I agree with you about negativity and its drawing power.
  • Wow! (No pun intended). So you do think its possible. Cool. Thanks for the reply.
  • So you don't think its possible too. Cool. My wife has given me the same advice about not looking at the forums. I don't know, something keeps me coming back. Anyway, thanks. And I agree. Its a great distraction.
  • So you don't think its possible. Cool. Thanks for the reply.
  • Don't you need 21 votes to be silenced?
  • There are thousands of players beta-testing this game that has been out for a couple of months. Let’s say for the sake of argument that there are only 1000 people playing the game (there is much more than this). If every player submits just 1 ticket a week, that's 1000 tickets per week or 8,000 tickets in two months. Let’s…
  • Uh, if you want to sell stuff, use the auction house. If you want to team up with people, join a guild or press, you know, the queue button. Selling junk for gold on the public chat is right up there with cold-calling houses to sell amway.
  • What we need is an incentive not to press 'need' all the time. Like 'teamwork tokens' which can be used to buy items or something, awarded when you don't 'need'. That way, if you are contantly missing out on items, you can trade in your tokens to get the item eventually. Just a thought.
  • You know, you've got a point. I think its because I talk to everyone in my dungeon runs and let them know what I'm doing that I have never had a problem. If I am about to select Need, I let my team know (although this happens very rarely) and if anyone has a problem, I listen to them and act accordingly. I once handed over…
  • Um, maybe he has a cleric of his own? Maybe he invited you to 'queue' with him because he did nothing wrong except need an item he might have, well, needed for his cleric and he liked you. So you're saying that it is wrong of me to need a CW item as a GF (for my own wizard character) just because I happen to be a guardian…
  • $150. I don't regret it for a second. Best MMO I have ever played and I've played a lot.

  • Great to see a positive post!
  • Um, big fixes take time and the community will not allow that. The last time they took down the server for a day to fix an exploit, there were hundreds of angry players threatening to leave, on this forum, on other forums and on twitter. And when they don't take down the servers to make significant changes, people like you…
  • What are you talking about...if it's the well documented problem that the PW team are working on, look at the instruction listed in the bugs forum for a solution. It states that if you get hung on the loading screen, exit the game, go to options in the loading client, switch to safe mode, re-enter the game, move your…
