My current system is as follows to give you a baseline. I7 4790s 16gb crucial ddr3 1600mhz memory 500gb samsung evo SSD Asus H81-PLUS motherboard EVGA GTX980 Superclocked( gtx 950 i had previously gave about the same performance in neverwinter, pointing to the CPU being the bottleneck)
This AMD Piledriver FX-8320. MMO's are cpu intensive. This game is very reliant on the CPU. AMD processors have poor IPC performance. I speak from experience, i had a A10 7870k, and it didnt matter what gpu i ran with it, I always had 12-24 fps in PE, and 12-50 fps everywhere else, on low setings. I upgraded to an i7 4790,…
It really isn't lack of support. Games where the bottleneck is CPU, you will see AMD lags behind by a significant margin. Games where the GPU is the limiting factor, it doesn't usually matter very much. Basically online games like MMOs NEED a very strong CPU. And in these types of games you will find AMD cpu's lacking. If…
Also I am running the game maxed out currently. Before with the AMD cpu, i was running it with many settings on low and the fps still sucked. And the only thing I changed was CPU and motherboard lol.
Until recently I was running the game on an amd A10-7870k cpu, 16b ddr3 1600 memory and a gtx 950. I fps in PE was never higher than 26 fps and minimums of 12 fps. I upgraded to an intel i7 4790, everything else remaining the same, and fps in PE went to minimum of 42 fps and highs of 60 fps. This game is highly CPU…
That sword knot was part of the old artifact weapon set when level 60 was the cap. Well of Dragons is now level 70 content and the old artifact weapons are no longer worth getting. My advice, level to 70, spend time completing campaigns, farm your motes for whatever artifact weapon set you prefer, speak to the druid in…
There is no content in this game requiring a GWF. There is no content in this game where people won't do it without a GWF. I remember mod 5 well enough. Control Wizards were preferred, nobody really wanted a GWF of anything. I see nobody excluding other classes from groups on the basis of their class anymore. That is a…
I am certain the step back is in place to force us to be ranged when throwing the daggers. It's a minor annoyance. It has always seemed silly to me to force that upon us, as every other attack we have has no step back effect and we are meant to be close ranged. I mean, we only use hidden daggers as a buff for the most…
This along with ranked, because if you're a 70 and never participated, your item level might be high but you have zero tenacity. I'd like to see a ranked system with item level requirements. Low ranks means you've never pvp'd much and have zero tenacity, no glory to speak of. Higher ranked would be high item level and…
That's a pretty amazing idea. I wouldnt mind such a thing at all. I know i would spend zen on it. But I also would like to see them sell more special transmute items on the zen store, they seem to want to push blood rubies and they would make alot more off of transmute/appearance items. There is just so little on the store…
The problem isn't special attacks coming from trash mobs, it is their NORMAL ones. They can hit for up to 150k and those attacks arent telegraphed with red circles, you just don't see it coming and you die.
I have a hard time believing your item level is only 2400 with all that. My GWF has full blue t1 alliance set, epic artifact belt and neck, all artifacts are epic, mainhand and offhand artifact weapons at epic, major armor hitpoint kits, major action point kits on neck, belt, rings, and gemmed shirt and pants, mostly rank…
If he's doing 50 million damage, he's likely using the bugged feytouched enchantment. I don't beleive this is because of the lostmauth set alone, i have it, i've never done 50 million damage unless the ap bug was happening.
It's more difficult when you are hugging the mob to even see where the red is to avoid it. While true everybody dies like bugs if they get hit, it is indeed harder for a gwf to avoid being hit.
