  • Just worked on try #5, so apparently it's either intermittent or it took a while for everything to come up from the previous fix.
  • Same error. Apparently the account server problem isn't as fixed as they thought...
  • Cosmetics and store updates are almost certainly handled by different people than the ones who do bug fixes and class changes. Should the teams that do the first two take vacation time while the last two get fixed?
  • I appreciate your honesty and I understand issues like aggro can be complex, but if your backlog queue is such that you can't get around to even attempting to fix the #1 problem with PvE content any time soon, (an issue so broken that it makes two of your five classes essentially worthless in the endgame) it sounds like I…
  • The combination of limited storage space, limited time in which to make an item and long prep time for required materials is definitely a problem. There isn't enough bag or bank space to keep required precursors around hoping for a recipe to come up and there isn't enough time to make those precursor recipes before the…
  • I keep wondering why this hasn't shown up in patch notes yet. It's ludicrously broken and affects all group content, but appears to be low on their list. (Or it's just a lot tougher to fix than it looks from the outside, which is certainly possible.)
  • After spending the last 15 years on the internet dealing (almost) exclusively with human beings, I welcome our Skynet overlords.
  • Did a search for this so as not to start a new thread. The ignore function apparently isn't affecting in-game mail, as I keep reporting spam from the same gold selling accounts every day, and every day I get an error message that such-and-so is already on my ignore list. (There may be a further bug in that the "report…
  • I wish I had the ability to fling them everywhere instead of just vendoring them or competing with the other 11 billion pants auctions on the AH. I could yell "PANTS! PANTS FOR EVERYONE!" Maybe pile them around the mail delivery halfling. Or wear them on my head. Pants!
  • I've turned off zone chat on my characters until they implement something like this. It scrolls so fast (and gets spammed so often by people hoping that if they repeat something 50 times someone will actually see their message) there's no point in trying to respond to anything.
  • I think it's random. My GWF often ends up as the group lead lately, but I've gone through patches like that on my DC, CW and TR as well.
  • If you're playing a DC or CW, the dire wolf is great just for the constant knockbacks. He's really good at interrupting enemy attacks. (And he can level to 30, which means he survives a lot longer than the NPC tank my DC used up to level 35 or so.)
  • About half the boots in the game display as chest pieces on my female Dwarf GWF. I've gotten used to running around in footwraps.
  • Given the (fast) speed of character leveling and the (incredibly slow) speed of tradeskill leveling, there are two useful recipes for each (non-leadership) tradeskill: shirts and pants. If you're okay with spending weeks micromanaging your hirelings for a minor stat boost in the endgame and the chance to eventually make…
  • There was an interview with the lead producer the other day in which he specifically mentioned that they were looking at GWF because people seem to think it feels underpowered and painful to level, but that from their point of view (involving statistics on damage, leveling speed and potion use) it was completely balanced.…
  • Whichever method they use to fix this, the level restrictions are a real pain. In general, by the time I complete an area and get the story quest for the final dungeon, I can't queue for it anymore.
  • Dunno, I'm enjoying mine at 45 in both PvP and PvE. The leveling process pre-30 is a pain, though.
  • At a guess, they're using the time to ban more accounts that had exploited the free AD bug. We probably wouldn't be happy with the economy if those people were still driving up prices after the AH came back up...
  • There's some worthwhile, if temporary, stuff in there (heath stone, account bound experience buffs) and some fluff. That's about what I expected - nothing game breaking, just an apology for a day or so of lost time on a weekend. What did you expect?
  • Yes. As often happens, something first used as a convenience (the ability to kick AFK or disconnected group members in PvP and hopefully get new members) was quickly turned into an exploit. Disabling it altogether would probably just end in more 2v5 matches, so the game probably needs a voting process for kicking people…
  • Some of it is decent - the guy who does the voice of the Lich who wants you to find him a resting spot in Neverdeath Graveyard is great, for instance. Some of the rest is just a problem with spam. The 400th time you hear any line spoken, it's going to grate. And some of it is fairly bad. I have yet to play a game (yes,…

  • Please don't. Different sets of gear for PvE and PvP are a royal pain, and would only add to the inventory problem.
  • Default Trade and LFG channels (at the very least) would be easy to set up and alleviate much of the problem. Not sure why they haven't done this already.

  • Oh, very nice! Thanks for the heads up on that.
  • It's a decent free pack and the accompanying email was cute, as is the cloak design. Inventory slots are a bit of a sore spot in this game, though.
  • *shrug* Hardly the only game to offer rewards for long-term play. If they'd unlock training manuals so there was some way to level cleric companions past 15, no one would care.
  • Mustard on mine, please.
  • They've already said several times there won't be a full wipe. I'd bet on a rollback of three or four days, if they can swing it. The exploits and resulting economic implosion would be covered by that.
  • It's Sunday, which means not everyone is available and they're undoubtedly still trying to figure things out. If you must panic, do it on Monday. Better yet, don't panic. And carry a towel!
  • Nicely descriptive set of pics. :p All I can say is, I'm really glad I'm not on the dev team this weekend...
