error during publish. Publish failed: log Project needs republish. I'm getting this error on the first quest in my campaign "Spells and Coin". Everything else could be republished just fine but... yeah. Oh, and I couldn't use bite. It has been replaced by BIITE for now.
So... it's 'bite' that's causing this. Are you kidding me? Are they morons or something? It's bad enough that the filter constantly crams words together to make something 'profane' but now it's banning words that aren't? I have friends that have made absolutely vile names in their games just to see if they could get around…
I'm offended that we have to kill so many humans. As a human myself, I'm against this kind of thing. Can we change them to moving target dummies? I'm afraid if we switch them to any monsters it might be too scary and mean.
Ahahah! Really? Their instances are already falling apart? Seriously? They (Cryptic/PWE) need to loosen the purse strings a little and get some people that are competent at their jobs instead of the same worthless people that can barely keep a game running. Look at Champions right now, (no, seriously, someone needs to)…
Wizard of Eldeur has been updated taking some of the feedback in the thread into consideration! I might try to block some stuff off later (in Wizard of Eldeur) to keep people from running off without interacting with the NPCs, but I hate putting up artificial walls everywhere!
Yeah, clerics can solo through the game no problem. If you think otherwise, you're either not good or just using the wrong skills. It helps if you try to actually understand how your powers work and the importance of mobility. People not wanting to dodge or even just MOVE seems to be a majority of the problem with a lot of…
For the floating, there is an NPC behavior you can set that causes them to do that. I don't remember the name exactly off the top of my head, but you set it like you would any other looping ambient behavior.
I noticed that when I was doing later foundry missions. I didn't realize how it showed up on screen when you're actually interacting! Thanks for reminding me though, I've been busy recently.
Did it as a cleric. It was rough, but it should be. I did a lot of kiting, a lot of solar bursting to kb and separate enemies. Knocking them into the pits gave some breathing room since they had to run back up. Mobility was super freaking important. It was an awesome quest and quite fitting given the quest chain.
...I forgot about punishing charge completely. I didn't even realize GWF still got it and I have one at level 60. I just remember it kind of sucking in beta.
I've noticed Steel Grace reducing the duration of control effects, but that might just be wishful thinking. As for Steel Defense... I believe it SHOULD be 5 seconds of immunity at max rank. With bugs and all though, you never know.
http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Great_Weapon_Fighter Role: Damage Dealer Secondary Defender They do less damage than GFs and can't tank currently, though.
GWF is primary DPS according to the site/wiki. This is also obviously not pnp DnD. Also I have never, ever felt that cleric is underpowered while I was playing mine up. But I also played GWF up to 60 first.
That doesn't make them boring or take the action element out. It in fact, encourages more, smart movement from both the cleric and the party. From what I've heard on test, with the improvements to aggro and Fighters, it's not that big a deal with a decent group.
How were they boring? How is it going to be worse? How does not having a circle you're encouraged to stand in 100% of the time NOT encourage movement and action? That doesn't make any sense.
