they aren't broken but are a huge hassle. The portal doesn't always appear where you tell it to. The centerpoint is off. You need to move the portal detail around and go in and out of the game to see where the portal really is. Then adjust it a bit more. Back and forth until it lines up with the door.

I do believe the quest will come up eventually, you don't need to withdraw it. It updates it every time after 2-4 hours. I never had a problem with it, sometimes I go to test my quest because I'm an eager mcbeaver and play an old version and waste my time. If its a bug then its out of our hands.
