  • The opinions about Mod6 are mixed and my own experinces are very mixed indeed. Back in the day when PWE/Cryptic asked for expectations about Mod6 I replied "a lot of bugs and a huge downturn." Although my prediction was flatout hated and therefore deleted it still shows that I was quite right. My main is a DC. I have got a…
  • Party needs a DC using SB in Dungeons crowded with vast ambushes - like CN, SP or Kar - for its AOE damage/healing combination and its relatively short cd. Nobody wants SB for its pushing. HOWEVER, since these changes are taking away the "regain divine" feature from SB (with the new mechanics divinity is regenerated by At…
  • It feels like something like this is going on at the devs: "Yo, John Doe, that door is still broken" - "no way I fixed it." - "You fixed the wrong one. " - "Wait... there is more than one door?" - "Yeah, didn't you know?" - "Man, I have never played this how should I know? I'm only coding here..." *sigh* Seriously. Some…
  • PVP in this game to me feels like there are two classes of players: the ones who think "PVP is all the rage" - they got all 10's and perfect and legendary and everything who feel superior to everybody else - and the others who consider the former to be a royal pain in the back. PVP is as far away from "fun" to me as a…
  • Now this is a two-classes-game: GWF and the rest no-one needs. GWFs are already bragging how they solo Spellplague and how little use there is for those ****ty CWs and DCs and - especially - TRs. A really well done patch that made it out off the box flawlessly and treats everybody equally. What color is the sky over at the…
  • Taken from F*ceb**k: Michael Doughty Is there going to be a rollback? I needed to pray - will that be penalized? Neverwinter Nope, we won't be doing any rollbacks!
  • The worthiness of any given item is not only a result of it's availability alone. Demand is driven by "desire" and that again is driven by (real or percieved) usefulness, coolness etc. An example: You could lower the number of purple "+1AC" rings in the game as much as you like, the actuall trade volume of AD won't…
  • The reason for not having those everywhere is (at least) twofold. For one: The lack of inventoryspace is a source of income to the company running the game (think "greater bag of holding"). The other (main) reason are bots. If they could reach a PObox easily the economy would die instantly.
  • Loot-quota is nerfed constantly. Purple items - even those off-class - are more and more BoP. Tell me why I should run a dungeon. For what reason? The loot is not only useless, it is also worthless (try selling lvl60 green on AH). Dungeons drop about one or two ID-scrolls for me per run vs ~10 green. To ID all items I…
  • Yes, nerfing IS the "easy way out", that's why the company "fixes" the game this way: since it IS easier to do. It simply is CHEAPER. Consider the time it takes to evaluate buffing all the other classes, monsters, traps and what not vs. the time it takes to evaluate the nerfing of a couple of powers / specs. The reason why…
