People are selling items for cats now. You heard that right, the main driving force of the economy now is cats. Yeah, there's no way they can just investigate every case individually when the issue has proliferated this far.
Diablo 3. Also, there's always going to be problems when you can sell all end-game gear through the AH-- specially when that can be influenced with real life money.
I think a lot of the problems also stem from the terribly one-sided dungeon design. You swarm the players with constant, respawning adds and as it turns out the best way to deal with them is not to kill them or weather them down but to CC them in a singularity and knock them off as you wait for the next add wave to come.…
Managed to get full bulwark after a lucky DD chest in Mad Dragon and actually tried Castle Never with my guild. We got 3/4 before calling it and I can definitely add another ticket of confirmation as far as the effectiveness of the build goes in high-tier content in durability, aggro-holding, and specially damage. Say…
Well I'm sure the fighter class sucking in a game based on the DnD ruleset is no surprise to anyone. Consequently, the most optimal groups for tier 2 are the ones with just clerics and wizards.
Doesn't help that your guard meter depletes rather quickly in end-game dungeons anyways. The briartwine armour enchant, which reflects back 2% damage done, will definitely end up ahead over three points into Guarded Assault by the end of a run.
You sure about that? I know it's a high-threat ability though I often see them sticking to other teammates still. Maybe I jut haven't noticed fully. Also just did some tests and you don't get the entire Into the Fray buff at all while under Villain's Menace so no AP regen either.
While under the effects of Villain's Menace, you do not seem to gain the speed buff of Into the Fray. Using Stab while blocking does not taunt targets like the tooltip states. Iron Guard (Paragon/Protector) does not trigger if you use Stab or Shield Slam while blocking.
For the lightning enchant what does it mean by chaining? Like hitting other targets? I assume the greater ones do so looking at that description though.
If you spec for damage you can actually become an offensive threat with abilities like griffon's wrath. Nonetheless, if you are full tank you're better off using Bull Charge, Iron Warrior, and Frontline Surge and holding points while knocking off any serious threat.
I enjoy a good challenge but it'd be nice if 90% of the bosses in these dungeons weren't just one big baddy + one million adds. I get add control is important in this game but with those health pools and intervals of spawning it gets really excessive if you don't have the right group composition-- which often times we…
4th edition is basically WoW in tabletop form-- which makes it all the more appropriate for this game to use that ruleset. The basic premise is that the edition is extremely well balanced at the cost of homogenizing every class (they're all basically spell casters who share abilities depending on their role, not class). As…
It costs less to change your character's name than it does respeccing. Cosmetic in form of text vs. something that actually affects your gameplay. How anyone can defend this is beyond me.
Some powers seem viable from the description but in practice often times tend to be terrible (crushing surge for GFs, for example). So basically we are better off not experimenting and instead look for a guide to tell us where to put our points at? There a difference between a "convenience" and something as fundamental as…
I'm a lvl 56 Guardian Fighter and been doing lots of dungeons, skirmishes, and PvP matches since Saturday. This is how I would rate popularity: 1. Rogue ... ... 2. Wizard 3. Cleric ... 4. Guardian Fighter 5. Great Weapon Fighter On that note I haven't been grouped with another Guardian Fighter whenever I do dungeons or…
Yeah not sure what happened to those sub-forums either. Granted back then they didn't have much activity but with the announcement of open beta and all you'd think they would have left them be.
Nice guide although considering the high amount of adds and mobs in dungeons, wouldn't Enduring Warrior actually be a viable class feature? At max points it is +3% max health and so long as you get the killing blows it could help with the sustainability of an offensive guardian.
Something that I think the developers kind of dropped the ball on is making sure people were aware that you don't need a tank or a healer to pull through a dungeon-- or that their roles aren't as static as they are in other MMOs. I came into it the same way as you did, OP, and from the skirmishes and dungeons I've done as…
