Yeah ok. Here. It's about pricing. For 40 you get everything in the expansion. They value all of that as forty. So why are a few optional things worth more than any expansion anywhere else? How come some extra stuff is the same cost as a whole game? Yes the bulk of the xpac is free, but if you buy this to get the most out…
Actually, they're shaving off parts of the expansion, adding some currency and charging you as much as an entire full sized game. Most mmo's don't do it all the time. Please show me five that sell tiny bits from an expansion for as much as a full AAA title. You can't. You're just making stuff up hoping no one will be…
I'd say include the wings, but do so in a way that's appropriate to D&D. - Spells give people wings and allow them to move quicker. - Create templates that would allow one to modify end game characters (Half-Celestial/Infernal, Half-Dragon) - Make wings a special mount type. - Allow people to add wings to elves to make…
Nancy boys tow the company line, and never stand up for themselves. Nancy boys never complain. This is the problem right now in gaming. Companies have caught on, that they can make potentially more money on "free to play" games than they ever could with subs. AND, as a bonus, it comes with all sorts of convenient excuses…
In this case Forgotten Realms 4E lore. Half Celestial/Infernal, Dragonborn, and Avariel can all have wings. A character could probably be granted wings with a Wish spell, and the Favored Soul class sprouted wings. Though I'm pretty sure Favored Souls don't exist anymore.
There was nothing "childish" about that post you quoted. The only childish post here, is yours, which was entirely driven by taking solid criticism personally, because fanboy. This is a BUSINESS, if you don't think customer trust is a major factor in an industry glutted with alternatives, than you're the child. Or a very…
Really great quest series. Well written, and puts the official quest designs to shame. I love the Bioware-esque conversations/options. I wish Cryptic had taken a more in depth approach to the main game.
I was really pleasantly surprised when I found out about this pack. I expected nothing and this would be more than enough compensation, IF you had done the items right. The mask is nice, but the only way to wear it is by switching to your costume gear, which wouldn't be so bad if 90% of the players weren't all wearing…
Address concerns with the ridiculous zen shop prices, the fact that you removed content to force cash shop companion purchases, and the fact that you're charging six bucks for respecs. Fixing problems that you were warned about back in CBT, isn't an amazing feat. While I appreciate the work put in, it is work that could…
You know what really sucks? The cape. Coolest article of clothing I've seen in this game and what do the geniuses at Cryptic do? No stats, and you can't change neck equipment to look like it. THANKS! Oh and another mask to wear along with that hobo outfit I got at the beginning, that I never wear.
I'll just leave this here. http://www.geek.com/games/cryptic-studios-discovers-its-user-database-was-hacked-in-2010-1486063/ Anyone else surprised that it took this long for a limp wristed fix?
You get it at the end of the quest chain in Neverdeath. I don't remember the specifics but I completed the map and got the achievment. I think its a reward for one of the last quests there.
A word of advice. If you're hired, or volunteer to astroturf. Do try to go about it with some manner of subtlety. You're so obvious I can actually see cleat-marks in your post.
I have zero sympathy for Cryptic at this point. They knew about this since what was laughably called a CBT. You see if Cryptic was even remotely interesting making a solid, bug free game, and not their usual rush the game out, jack up prices on their cash shop and bank on naive new players song and dance, they would have…
To be fair, the Time Lost proto-drake was at best, a +30% speed increase out of combat, and a cosmetic upgrade to whatever flying mount you were using, and there were tons of alternatives. This game has that. It's called the Angel of Protection. One shouldn't have to grind for over a month just to change a few power points.
You're thinking of the Battle Cleric. Which is closer to the iconic cleric archetype. This is the Devoted Cleric, which is long range support, with Wisdom based prayers. More like the old Priest class.
Yeah I'm sorry but that's nonsense, considering that's exactly how dailies play out, for the first twenty levels or so. Do you see people here complaining about that? Or just the repetitive late level dailies?
The first bag is 24 slots, you'll get that in Blacklake District as a reward for the quest where go through the burning building. The second is a twelve slot bag, when you complete the entire quest line in Neverdeath.
