i did some PVP yesterday pugging GG and domination, took Hadars gasp-HS-KF combination, good against targets with low defence CW/Hunter/TR
but GF really is not very funny 1 vs 1
sam GWF if decent geared, one really stomped us in a row, nearly not going down, can´t say if he was maxed, but if not I would say GWF should not complain any more
please if it yyou could tell me the path your guild member chose for his GWF?
i have one and he is IV destroyer..since i play Warlock all time in PVP i want to level him next to 70 ( and want to kick one or two buts) in case of playing warlock now mod 4-5-6 and allways suffer from other classes, please tell me

GWF isn't fun, GF swordmaster is. Just catch somebody with crescendo > flourish > x3 Gryffon wrath > bullcharge. They will feel real bad if they don't die :P

I still like Iron Vanguard much better. Ferocious/Improved Reaction with some built in reflect and at 10% hp someone with a full bar thinks your an easy kill, full rotation you, and suddenly they are at 10% and you are near full, and THEN you can start your rotation
ive not fought one yet, but someone in my allaince chat told me that GF was nearly invincible in PVP now.
Not quite IMO, they are just really solid tanks with adequate dps, as they should be. Other classes have comparable ridiculousness going on in terms of damage/unkillability, just not the SW. If they do for SW what they did for GF I don't think I'll ever look back. Still my favorite class and character, just not viable in pvp atm.

OK GF is a hard nut, but after some matches i can say that some GWF-builds are unbalanced like hell in PVP
GF can be killed, two mates, one from the back at distance stunn prone, done, not very hard
but GWF i met....1 vs 3 was no no problem for him, even if he had not a T Bloodtheft that instantly killed my from full health 3 times multiproccing, and procs in short time
even two geared TR´s did not dare to leave stealth to fight him after he two hittet me, lol
GF deadly, GWF unkillable and deadly, no chance not a small one
Well they promised bug fixes on the next patch on the 23rd (not holding my breath). Sounds like GF and GWF are only good if abusing bugged abilities/enchants.

If you liked SW, go with Control wizard, it's the same thing but better in most cases

Glad you checked the forums before you decided to do something :P Yes, either roll a CW or TR, both are fun to play. The first one is never nerfed and always in demand though.

I call BS on that....At no time can a SW tank the scorpions. I have rank 9's and 10's, legendary weapon and offhand, legendary waste, and artifacts and a purple neck and it was not possible.
We're talking pre mod 6 here. Even before they did what they did it was not possible for a SW to do it.

Sorry but your wrong I did it plenty of times. 19k Fury specced in the MC set it was very easy to do...alas not now. most people are bugging them and running to the far door and rezzing to find they have disappeared.

I've technically tanked one of the Scorpions on my SW before.
I was somehow grabbing aggro so I just went with it. All I did was kite it around the room and shift away when it got close.

Tanking is not kiting though it can work just as well if you have the space.
tank the scorps? so lets clear this, noone can tank the scorps, not even a tank they only hold aggro and kite them from what i have seen until now, a warlock can´t tank them he only kites them for sure
tanking would mean i take the damage and mitigate most of it, as far as i know
i did understand this comment to be nothing else than ironic

Im not a pro gamer, I play for fun and have been enjoying my Sw since I joined the game 8 months ago. Now its a diffrent story.
In mod 5 I was of some use to a party in a dungeon(hellbringer fury), not on top of damage Charts but decent thus helpful for party.
Now Im on bottom of Charts, dealing not enough damage to fill any function in party. just a squishy caracter beeing babysat most of the time. I cant solo cause I die all the time. On forums People say adapt playstyle and Things will be jolly again. Im not one who usally quit when Things get difficult, but right now I dont know what to do. Seriosly considering to change class but none of the others is tempying me. Thinking maybe a hunter ranger or contol wisard.
Really when I saw the patch notes today.
Sorry if I wrote wrong or difficult to understand, not my mothertounge)

Also I wasn't using MC set for scorpions, you have greater sustainable incoming health from the AD set.
I only use MC set for first half of Lostmouth since the DOT becomes weaker and weaker as the health depletes from the boss.
