Griffin, Griffon, Gryphon mounts

Since we will have Paladins as a class choice in module 6 anyone know if Griffin or Gryphon mounts ever going to be put in the game?

I think this mount would go well with the class from a RP perspective.
I may not be considered by most the BEST PVP Warlock on the server but, I am the most HATED amongst them.

    They'd be an awesome mount if their unique animation was rearing back and expanding their wings.

    That would be cool - they could handle the wings like they did with the beetles - the wings mostly remain folded back, but open up and flap when jumping/falling.

    ...also should go with rather small-ish effort: Horse animations are there, wing animations are there - not as if they'd have to write it all from scratch...

    Agreed! They also already have the big cat models, (and to some extent, bird models). Though, you mentioned "horse" - isn't a gryphon part lion & part eagle? You may be thinking of a hippogriff...

    I would like a Chimera mount... that would be coooool!!!!

    Though they are Chaotic Evil, there are rare cases this beast actually get tamed by prospective raiders!

    Make it a rare drop by some boss maybe? would be really cooooool! :>

    I guess in the future, you can expect some Mythic mounts in the lockboxes probably more rare than legendary mounts ^^.

    Personally I could go for a wyvern, and make it come in a pack along with a deep hooded, black cloak and an /emote ssssssss... action. So I can live out my Nazgul dreams.

    I would also like to maybe have a giant salamander and possibly an eagle. The eagle should be like tenser's floating dish and always flapping it's wings, hovering just above the ground. Maybe i am getting a little too unrealistic but a hamster ball would be cool too. ;)

    This is a great idea!! It would probably be the only mount I'd actually pay money for.

    Haha I remember the HOMM campaign when you have to seek the help of the gryphons. Hopefully they will fly. Crawling dragons are already clumsy, but crawling gryphons....
    If birds can't fly then let just have headless chicken mounts.

    A pegasow. This makes me picture a half cow half winged horse. Magestically mooing as they fly over you.

    OT: I really want to see griffons in game. Its one thing D&D has that this game has been completely lacking in. Even if they are just NPCs or enemies, I want to see them.

    Striders will be another new mount in epic/legendary form, dont know if its coming out in mod6 or later.

    They kind of look like Chocobos from FF but with no feathers and a lizard like head and tail lmfao , some of the bad guys in the new module ride about on them , Giant crab FTW in module 6 still though xD .

    Well, there is now a Griffon mount on Test server and it looks really good, I'm disappointed by the coal ward situation as well, but I have learned over the course of 3 years, take the good with the bad in this game.

    Again, Griffons for the Win!
