mountain time? 0.0 edit: just discovered the existence of it XD
berhudarol your idea are all nice except the first one.
they would even impact positively to the economy except maybe for the last one...it would promote the same bad behaviour of leadership alt stacking
Make it bound to char problem solved. Furthermore game becomes a little more alt friendly.

Right so none of these changes are very big, yet the same thing always happens when these minor patches come around. Other stuff always gets broken and maintenance last twice as long...
Our pain is self chosen.
The most important thing in life is to be yourself. Unless you can be Batman. Always be Batman.
I thought they had sort of addressed the main concern of this problem when they made the enchants a person found, bind on pickup. Currently, the amount of points needed to take an item to legendary is <expletive removed>. Even for a wallet warrior this cost is pretty out of control (in the $1,000's).
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to see the afk farming fixed -- but this needs to be accompanied by lower point costs for increasing the ranks of artifacts. Hopefully this will follow with the new update. If the point costs are not lowered, then I think there will be a lot fewer people playing this game. What's the point of giving us all these artifacts when we have no realistic way of ranking them up to legendary.
I am hoping a developer can answer these questions:
1. Will all the enchants a person gets as a drop from a creature now go back to not binding on pick-up?
2. Will the points required to rank up an artifact be reduced significantly?

as you can now carry on the artifacts since we removed the portals They come in the foundry? if you want players who are just there to rimperirvi budgets, I know it was wrong game.

An better method than removing the summoning portals would be to instead make it so that summoned mobs don't proc the hoard/fey enchants (and do it for summoned zombies from Deathlocks too, btw). Then, you're not putting a dent in an already barely supported Foundry when those enemies are being used in a legitimate way and you prevent their use as farming tools.
I do think, though, that while working to eliminate mindless farming options is good, Cryptic needs to consider the effort it takes to reach higher levels, especially now that there are as many as 7 artifacts players will be working to refine at a time. (or more, but 7 can be slotted at a time anyway). This will be even more pronounced if they release other artifact gear.
I suggest doubling the Hoard and Fey proc rate. Keep them bound - players should have to do their own work, but let's be reasonable here. I understand the need for things to take a long time, this is an MMO, you should have to work for it - but unless you are able to pay millions of AD for RP, it will take several months to get a single artifact to legendary, years to get 7 (and likely they'll be obsolete by the time you do). It seems to me, 2 months-ish worth of work for an average player should be enough to make a single legendary item. yes, that still means a little over a year if you do your artifacts one after another.
Leadership profession takes a very long time to level to 20. When you get there, there's a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment, but more importantly, it doesn't take so long that you just give up. That's what I see happening here, there's a profound dismay at how long it takes. I understand the dilemma here, but I think Cryptic is making a mistake erring on the side of more limited RP.
I officially retract this statement having spent the last few hours playing the new content on Preview. While those used to farming for hours in these foundries will still be disappointed for sure, I feel the new content area provide a MASSIVE improvement in the ability for casual players such as myself to get RP in significantly larger quantities than before.
Also keep in mind (and you can see for yourself on Preview), come mod6, there will be no Gear Score... I would assume this means the queue system is being completely reworked. For better or for worse? No idea - population is way to low on preview to test that out, but the fact is, Mod 6 is doing away with Gear Score completely. (and good riddance, it was a nearly pointless stat anyway)

There is a massive, Massive list of player suggested fix to the current RP process.
This is the bottom line, DRAGON hoard farming should be a BONUS feature for every player, NOT the primary way to earn RP. There should be multiple access points to it.
The game is not better for locking out players who want to play more then one toon, when HAS any MMO done that (sure maybe you couldnt have 6 tier 2 raiding toons, but you could DEFINITELY have 2 of those and 4 t1 raiding toons! )
For each toon a player goes through, they may purchase something for that toon, I have zero incentive now to do that. None, since I know I can no longer support more then one toon.
Since this game DOESNT do t2 raids, I expect to be able to achieve a fairly reasonable amount of gearing for each of mine, but since Gear is worthless, its all about RP, and thats locked out basically to minute amount of farmed , there is no way you can really FARM more then 1-2 people up.
This is massive gear locking, more then any game Ive ever played. Over 80% of those polled recently on a very active forum poll, suggest they do not like this current RP system and it had better be changed.
