Why this change exactly at this stage of the game? It's not like we are blowing away others with our super-awesome AoE dps. What gives devs? Always one buff followed by 10 nerfs and the buff wasn't even to Archers but FotM Trapper...
Our pain is self chosen.
The most important thing in life is to be yourself. Unless you can be Batman. Always be Batman.
Thanks to everyone who overused the summoning portal so that it is removed - great job!
Thanks Cryptic for removing another asset from the foundry. Can we get this as a costume at least? Or you know a frickin attack item mechanic?
Wonderful... patch thank you... ;/
Echo of the Ancient - NW-DT2ABLPD2 - The Wizards forces are pillaging ruins of the ancient, elven kingdom of Illefarn. In order to stop them, you need to lead your party through old, abandoned mines. But beware... you are not alone there...

I got a couple of tiefling weapon transmutes from Simril gifts (and unlike all others they were BtC). What CtA event to they come from? I couldn't find them on the collections page.

I would have thought it would be like that already, but okay. No problem with that -- it's indeed logical.
Lairs: The enlarge spell on the torture cages has been dispelled and are once again an appropriate size.
Ha, ha! I'd love to be a fly on the wall to hear how that happened in the first place. Good to see that it's fixed, though. (hint: a scale parameter in the Foundry would be helpful on SO many levels...)
The summoning portals have been removed as an asset from the Foundry.
It's sad that it has had to come to this, but to me it's perfectly understandable. Now that this issue is finally laid to rest, would it be possible to take another look at Foundry rewards? Personally I like the idea of having the Foundry be part of a separate progression area (maybe toward earning player housing construction assets, or some sort of skill progression, or something else). In any event, botting should be significantly more difficult now in the Foundry -- which is A Good Thing (TM) -- so can we please make the Foundry more compelling?
I'm going to once again petition for an increase to the 96-inactive companion maximum. You've added so many new companions over the last few months, but no way to have them all.

Good for cheaters but what about if we have a story based proper foundry that has 1-2 portal in it. What happens to them or our foundry? Because i have one foundry like that.

A much more elegant solution would have been to cap the maximum number of critters spawned per quest.

True. Because if they want to cheat, they will put 30 encounters and set their timers to appear at the same time. Same as portal spawn. This won't stop them.
An better method than removing the summoning portals would be to instead make it so that summoned mobs don't proc the hoard/fey enchants (and do it for summoned zombies from Deathlocks too, btw). Then, you're not putting a dent in an already barely supported Foundry when those enemies are being used in a legitimate way and you prevent their use as farming tools.
I do think, though, that while working to eliminate mindless farming options is good, Cryptic needs to consider the effort it takes to reach higher levels, especially now that there are as many as 7 artifacts players will be working to refine at a time. (or more, but 7 can be slotted at a time anyway). This will be even more pronounced if they release other artifact gear.
I suggest doubling the Hoard and Fey proc rate. Keep them bound - players should have to do their own work, but let's be reasonable here. I understand the need for things to take a long time, this is an MMO, you should have to work for it - but unless you are able to pay millions of AD for RP, it will take several months to get a single artifact to legendary, years to get 7 (and likely they'll be obsolete by the time you do). It seems to me, 2 months-ish worth of work for an average player should be enough to make a single legendary item. yes, that still means a little over a year if you do your artifacts one after another.
Leadership profession takes a very long time to level to 20. When you get there, there's a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment, but more importantly, it doesn't take so long that you just give up. That's what I see happening here, there's a profound dismay at how long it takes. I understand the dilemma here, but I think Cryptic is making a mistake erring on the side of more limited RP.

What are Inscribed Garments? New clothing option from the Zen Store rather than professions?
Does the fix for the items mean that the Tiefling Symbol for DC's will properly show enchants now?
Thanks!

Patch Notes: NW.35.20150122b.3 Foundry
- The summoning portals have been removed as an asset from the Foundry.
Wow, so the foundry will be useless and, if the refining stones are linked to the account..how can We refine the items? A few months ago the price of these was more accessible. Now who has the stones will be more advantaged than those who has not yet.. You need to make the refining stones not linked to the account or the consequences will be catastrophic.. or better yet, never mind the portals.
Does the fix for the items mean that the Tiefling Symbol for DC's will properly show enchants now?
FYI, this fix is NOT complete! The upper part of the Tiefling Symbol now shows up and has enchant/divinity graphics but the lower part (which has been all that had them before) does not!
So it is 3/4 fixed!

I think people are missing the point. Cryptic doesn't want every player to immediately get every new upgrade the minute it comes out. They want things like fully refined orange artifacts and gear to be player goals not player necessities. It keeps people playing. The trick is to find a balance between 22k and 14k so that even casual players can feel competitive.

Art gear should be a goal, not neccessity. Corret. But only when all players have equal chances to reach that goal with the same amount of playing time.
We ought to think about this part of the foundry
This is all well and good but then where can really use the fey dragon enchant?
Where will I be able to get to the auction house to pick a starting player in the development Artifakt things?
We went to buy Zen?
If so it might be cheaper to buy it is where the player can determine how much you want to spend because they fixed the prices are not really good ....
-Let casual players to earn more AD. So we can buy stack of stones from AH to refine our artifacts. Maybe increasing 24.000 AD limit to 48.000 helps.
-İncrease the drop rate of refining stones. %1 is too low. İncrease it to %3 or %5. (if you have dragon enchants)
-Make 2x RP days. For example every saturday.
-Let dragons drop refining stones.(5 peridot or 1 aquamarine etc.)
-How about we craft refining stones under jewelcrafting profession? (2h for 5 peridot, 6h for 2 aquamarine etc, 12h for opal etc.)
quick question. I have been playing NW for 6 months or so and have never made a foundry quest. I was wondering what you get for putting your time in to making a quest or epic quest line for the foundry?

There are plenty of places in the main world to farm with dragon hoard enchants. There are also plenty of naturally occurring summoning portals if you absolutely positively must farm portals.

Wow nice all really good ideas. Also I would like to add more realistic drops. Beating Tiamat and getting ONE lesser resonance stone? Why not a blue or purple. Also greater RP for like items. More then 3k for a green belt into another belt etc.
mountain time? 0.0 edit: just discovered the existence of it XD

- The reason they removed this is because TR's could use it in pvp to lower their cooldowns by reactivating stealth after they get off the thrown.
