thank you everyone, i am currently playing a SW and i will go fury. I thought about a dps DC but.. if aiming is involved well, I suck at aiming!

Two things; first I hope you don't like pvping because SW is the current free kill in PvP. If you do like PvP I hope you like dying a lot.

Secondly, I hope you like carrying a lot of injury kits because SW has serious aggro generation in PvE and none of the control you've enjoyed so far as a CW. Enjoy.
    Threat level 60 Guardian Fighter
    Gloom level 60 Control Wizard
    Dusk level 60 Trickster Rogue
    Dawn level 60 Devoted Cleric
    Eclipse level 60 Hunter Ranger
Wrath level 60 Great Weapon Fighter
    Jinx level 60 Scourge Warlock

SW's have a ton of lifesteal though and high damage. With the exception of when my SW was a baby just starting IWD and trying to solo a HE boss by myself, I don't think I ever died in solo content without monumental stupidity on my part.

The damnation path, (the one that gives you a permanent soul puppet), provides a great balance of damage and survival tools.

You know that's a good point. For someone just learning and lesser geared, once he gets the capstone and has a perma pet that might be best for him.

a capstone? sorry, so very new, i cant remember anything from a year ago. Also.. would a dps dc be better? i do not plan to pvp at all, i am terrible at it in any fashion haha. I just want a nice ranged class that dosnt have a ton of action to do and isnt really squishy. I do not plan to do much grouping, only to do my dailies and that is it.

When I first started I knew I wanted a healer since I've always enjoyed that role in MMOs. For my other slot I thought I'd probably want a tank too because I like being a leader deciding how to pull things and keeping the enemies off the squishies, so I made a GF. But in this game because of lifesteal and all the control powers a lot of times you don't even need either of those things so it took me a while to really figure out how to be useful by focusing more on buffing and debuffing. You should probably try out each class at least once before you decide to level one all the way, at least to level 10 so you can see at least see how their class feature on tab works.

Edit: When people say capstone, they're talking about the paragon feat you can get at level 50 by working through a single paragon feat tree. These tend to be huge game-changing class features like for instance, a DPS DC gets a new Avatar ability that seriously raises their damage, on top of the already great damage boosts in the DPS tree down there. My healer gets a change to his healing mechanic that removes all Heal over Time effects and instead gives everyone you heal a nice automatic heal if they drop below 40% hp. Someone mentioned the permanent soul puppet one for the warlock. My warlock uses the temptation one that makes it so your lifesteal affects your whole party so you can help with healing while doing damage.

You can look at all the capstones for all the classes under the feats tab here: http://nwcalc.com/

DPS cleric is a great solo tank in his own right. I'd get either an augment or a heal companion.
