I don't know if this used to happen but why even have the event if you are going to get nothing but 1 trash items barely halfway into the 30 minute event?
*sigh* I really enjoy this kind of farming but my reasons for playing this game keep dwindling
EDIT: I heard this is a new measure is to stop botting, and you know what? I'm sick of tired of devs not realizing the ONLY way to stop bots is to ban them using a REAL person! You're "programming measures" aren't going to stop ANYTHING. You're just making your player base pissed at you!
EDIT: Ok so it's an old feature. It's my first time seeing it, and I farm nodes every day when I go after dragons. I guess I never did that many in a row that quickly before...

This change was implemented something like a year ago. It mostly only affects players if you're farming in an area where nothing will fight you, because having to fight generally slows down your node-looting sufficiently that you won't end up flagged.
The flagging is after something like 20 nodes in ten minutes, and lasts for ten minutes. So you can loot hardcode at the beginning, take a break, and loot hardcore again, or just pace yourself a bit more.
More recently, they changed the event so you *only* get more profession resources. You used to get more of everything so I'd use it for enchant farming, but there's no point now. You actually get fewer enchants during professions now.

Yeah, this has been in effect since shortly after Fury of the Feywild (Mod 1), over a year ago. Nothing new.
When I do profession runs like that during prof hour, and hit the limit, I switch to another character, repeat. I can usually get 10-15 minutes in on each character before they hit the limit. I have a specific route I take in Sharandar that lets me hit all the nodes in the 3rd area (not all everytime of course, limit and other players you know).
However, I had suggested back then that they remove this limit only during the Professions Half-Hour. Still hoping they do sometime. For, I find that having a limit like this during an event that encourages you to go out and get all the skill nodes you can, to be obtuse.
Like the bots do NOT know about this counter-measure... bots are a lot smarter than you think, they are better farmers than most of us will be.
So flagging is kind of useless and really only hurts living, breathing players.
Maybe they to could add a "press the letter ?" option to each node to be able to loot it...
yeah it might be annoying at times but it could either freeze up bots or limit their chance to score the node to 3.85%
... still better odds than pulling a Coal from a 7-day coffer.
Been looking forward to upgrading my Perfect Sarcasm font, but due to recent changes it seems I will need to grind the Nine Hells for my Pure Sarcasm font... ironic isn't it?

Some kind of mechanic like STO has where you have to press your arrow keys AND match the frequency signal would be cool instead of this loot flagging.
I did not know there was a limit, however nonetheless when i see a node i loot it. Even if its been 20 nodes of getting garbage - that garbage to me is worth more then the item i used to open it. Never know when you need low level profession items.

The garbage items one gets when they hit the limit are useless grey items, that sell for less than a kit costs.
