Dunno why people even argue. This is a developer recognized bug and supposedly fixed.

Then why are they taking so long to fix it? This 'feature' is what contributes to HR's being so OP and now TRs too. Hell, TR's might turn out to be more OP than HR. They can stack up to 10% more deflection from DEX stat alone. That and their 75% crit severity...

    Good question.

Very limited number of people to take care of these things?

    Low priority bug?

Still thinking it is fixed (they said it is if I remember correctly)?

Changed their mind on this being a bug?

My bet is on "we don't have people to work on it and it's not affecting revenue so it's a future prospect. if and when we have time."...

that will need to wait to for the update to see how things truly are, but you are getting carried away with combat rogues. those of us with actual respectable deflect rates have to sacrifice offensive stats just to achieve it while hunters supposedly still beat the new rogues in deflect. also hunters can fully heal if they lose a chunk of hp, rogues can't.

and most rogues are gonna ignore dex completely now for str/cha/int since stealth is auto-critical and you can't deflect if you don't get hit in the first place

it seems fair , if someone stack deflect he has to feel it :)

well , well , well , i have a Tr in the closet that i ve bring out today in the preview server and i was suprised with the amount of deflect now TRs can have , 70% deflect chance ? aw i guess i take back my comment here !
I bet Devs forgot that deflect on Trs reduce damage taken by 75% , and that with 70% chance is going to be huge unbalanced game again !

    60% base (27 dex + 24 cha + about 3k deflect)
    +10% when in 1-shot territory
    +10% after entering stealth (nigh-useless)

but to get that base deflect rate requires forfeiting large amounts of hp, armor pen, power, recovery, critical, etc. even then it's still a gamble on if it procs. 70% base is impossible

biggest con to having so much deflect is that i will never have 40k+ hp like other rogues can due to gimping every stat for deflect. getting even 35k will be a chore

you should be more concerned about permas since they are the stronger build......
