x2 Resources Event question

The event itself is pretty self-explanatory, but I'm not clear on this bit:

"There will also be a “Professions” hourly event in which players receive rewards for two interactions, plus additional resources."

When is this hourly event and is there some kind of notification? (I've been in game for an hour and not seen anything)

Does anyone know what what the rewards for 2 interactions are?

    I was reading "2 interactions" basically as a clunky way of saying rewards as though you had looted two nodes. So if you'd normally get 6 random resource materials, you get 12.

    The way the news post is written, it does sound like they'll be running some kind of Professions event every hour, but I think they probably just mean that during the regular Professions event, you get that bonus on top of the weekend bonus. (Note that during the regular Professions event, you now get more resources but fewer enchants.)

    Hm, yes I see what you mean. The news post is horribly worded for maximum opaqueness (so no change there then). Oh well, I had hoped with the banner for the event being a picture of a dragon egg that they were really going to push the boat out; guess not.

    The hour long special one can be seen in the Home screen's event ticker. For the normal 30-minute long one: beyond the small chunk displayed in game on the Home screen, you can see when the 30-minute long "Professions" event is going to take place, here: https://drunkenmmo.com/neverwinter-game/events

    They've specifically excluded every source of resources other than nodes from getting a bonus, and I think we might have one person who has ever claimed to get a dragon egg from a node back in beta.

    It's a perk, but a very small one.

    I would have rather had a double XP for Professions weekend. :(

    I don't see an hour long one in the ticker, although maybe I've missed it. The next one is the usual half-hour one in about 4 hours. If you saw an hour long profession event (would have been nice if they'd mentioned it in the news post) which events was it between/overlap with?

    I had only assumed there was an additional one from the wording. Perhaps it means the 30 minute one and not some "hourly" one? I haven't been able to get in game yet this weekend.

    "Hourly" in this case seems to be a general term for all events (DD, skirm, prof) as one of them is active every hour (or half hour). There is no special prof event, just the regular one but with extra mats. So basically not worth doing unless you're really hard up for iron ore.

    They did not double uncommon or rare drops, so the acquisition of bonus materials was really minor.

    Getting 4 common resources instead of 2 from a level 60 node isn't all that exciting....
