As I'm sure many of you know, Season of Dragons is still in full swing! Our current goal centers around our Twitter account @NeverwinterGame.
If @NeverwinterGame can get 40,000 followers by Wednesday 11/10, we'll bring back the Respen's Marvelous Game event!
Making a Twitter account is easy and (more importantly) completely free. We also do tons of giveaways for posters, autographed R.A. Salvatore novels, Dragonborn Legend Packs, and more!
We're currently at 36,659 followers, so we've got a ways to go, but I have no doubt that if we pull together as the awesome community we are, we'll smash that goal and be home in time for dinner...which will, of course, be eaten as we triumphantly enjoy the awesomeness that is Respen's Marvelous Game.
If you're a little apprehensive about making a Twitter account for yourself, why not make one for your Neverwinter Character? Also, if you'd rather not use your personal email, there are plenty of places where you can make an email account for free.
What's with the hating? All companies want large numbers of followers on their different social media platforms. It's a way of making money. So They try to gauge us into following them with promises of bringing back old (and totally awesome) events- fine by me. I personally don't like twitter, so opening account and following them (and some other pages) is a easy way to find out about events, and gives me a chance to meet those wonderful chickens who used to be orcs. Win-win.
And just cause you pissed me off, I'll open a twitter account for my spam email address as well. So ha.
Contrary to the moaners and the haters, I actually really liked this event! It was rather refreshing, and a nice twist on the usual events ingame. Please bring it back

Thanks to an amazing response we received during the ExtraLife Charity event, where we received over $30,000 in donations, we decided to reward the community with bringing back Respen’s Marvelous Game! For those that missed out on this event last time, Respen’s Marvelous Game takes place atop a table, with your character being transformed into a miniature statuette. This event will challenge you on a whole new level. Now you will know what it is like to be on the other side of a tabletop game!
Even though @NeverwinterGame only got 500 new followers? That´s very kind.

I think they can see that particular milestone was set too far, but the willingness to switch it for greatly exceeding a different milestone is a lovely gesture.

Are we still getting a x2 Rp/XP weekend for reaching the donation goal? If so, anyone have a rough idea when they're planning to do it? Not before Mod 5 I assume.

That wasn't the question.
Akro (or another CM) did post something about doing a blockbuster double experience/refining point/glory weekend for meeting some goal and I've been scratching my head over the what and where of it, but I don't even know if it was a forum post or something on the twittermachine.
If you're going to post a reply try paying attention to the actual question.
@becky - it was in the news post for the charity event posted by DwightMC
"If we reach 100% of our goal: we'll release an Event Bonanza! For one glorious weekend everyone will receive 2x XP, 2x Refinement Points, and 2x Glory"
The goal was $10,000 which they clearly surpassed by some way. Strange there's been no mention of the rewards as it would have been a nice publicity boost for them and would have got everyone a little more excited than they've been recently. Mind you they haven't even got round to putting Mod 5 on the in game calendar yet, and it's less than two weeks away.

Why does the announcement say we are receiving Respen's game for the extralife charity event?
I assume you did not make your twitter/whatever goal, I haven't checked cus i don't twitter.
Are you throwing in respen's game as a bonus for the extralife thing? maybe you had already scheduled respen's and it's more work to take it down than to just go ahead with it. or is this somehow replacing the 2x RP reward promised for the Charity event?

MORE haters? Good grief! I think this game looks fun to try! So why are people so mean and angry?

I don't even do Facebook, let alone Twitter. And my phone is just a phone, not a handheld computer.
I have not really cared for any of the events and raspen was only fun for the first ten runs the it became ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz! I'm not a hater, just a realist they are only interested in making money now that they have X amount of followers.

Still really buggy once again!!!! 5 times in a row started in a buggy respin, could not proceed at all. Please fix it.
Oh and its called "the forest of peril", now been there 9 times out of 11!
Respen is a mess - yes forest of peril is so bugged one cannot really get in on a pug group. Pre-mades can get it if there is room. I got so bugged by it that I ended up quitting out (all the way) and relogging. When I did I reentered the game in the FOREST OF PERIL... ALONE no party but yet told me I was in a party. I eventually "aborted" the event through the GM Help menu choices only to be thrown out to Protector's but still showing as in a group in forest!!! my character continued to be listed -even on the character change screen as located in the forest. I eventually re-entered the forest and was shown in a group of disconnected members but that did allow me to "leave the party" and break the cycle. Also noted that when I did exit the game the loading screen came up - attempted to do a small patch - failed then loaded the play button anyway. Very frustrating.

Forest one gets bugged on the orc sub commander before one of the bridges, Ive done it on my gwf once, I now only use non knockbacks on all of my toons to prevent it, but think of all the people using knockdowns and the chance of this happening over and over.
But try to tell your random pug group not to use them.. its not going to happen, let alone the language barrier involved.
ITs a mess thats for sure, the best thing to do is just dont accept queues with partial fills, just keep denying them until you get a fresh one.
It does take a few minutes but you will get them.
Its funny about making premades sometimes (yo, making premade multi-run respens, please dont join if you cant do more then one)
Then the second you just ran through a 4 min run, 2 poeple dump out of group. I mean come on poeple =P .
Hotfix should be applied. The queue will not accept new members after the map has been open for 3 minutes or more so eventually a stuck map will properly close down instead of continually attempting to refill.
Safe travels,

They're moaning because it's not gonna happen.

I think they are giving us the event despite not reaching the Twitter follow goal because we did so amazingly well with the charity event.
