They dont. They only crit in runestones and enchants.
Something I noticed early after the implementation of the refining system.
Actually I had one (1) peridot crit for me a few days ago when i fed it into my artifact weapon. It was the only item i refined that round and it crit for 1.5x. I have never seen a peridot crit before that or since despite going through a dozen more stacks so i don't know how i got that random single crit

Melodywhr claimed a pearl crit once, so I dunno. I've used thousands upon thousands of these generic refining stones and never noticed them critting, so if they do it's so rare as to be non-existent.
Resonance stones though, I am sure I have seen one crit in a belt. Likewise, I am relatively certain that I saw a stone of X crit in a matching artifact. If my observations are accurate, these items also don't crit nearly as often as other things.
