Greetings,
I have some ideas how to improve the game or how to overcome some not that well thought game mechanics. Lets divide it to sections:
FASHION
the idea behind fashion clothes is to make character look nice and I love it, except
-I can't turn off the effect of soulforged enchantment which looks really ugly with my magma searing dye colored Sunite grab. I don't see the effect when my character window is opened, but in game it display it but only on the body "armor" slot. here are some suggestions
a)add option to disable this effect
b) disable any effects by default when switching to fashion items
c) make the effect change the color according to type of dye currently in use
I don't know if it's thanks to this thread, but as of today (14.09.) I noticed soulforged effect covers whole figure rather than just upper body part and while I still don't like the color of the glow it's significant improvement cos now it look MUCH better. So thank you for that.
-when I am falling down, robes does really strange things (flying up covering my eyes, uncovering my bottom...)
-I play thiefling and I understand that the tail animation are difficult to include into game if you are not about to change all cloth designs (to they fit thieflings) so as a compensation for all poor tiefling girls which tails are swiping around even when standing still and going thru the clothes you could add a special fashion slot item which would enchant the tail (some jewelery or ribbons come to mind)
-for some reason I can't change the color of my orb which I transmuted earlier. It does show the color change in change appearance window (so it IS possible) but it won't allow me to proceed with the change
ADMIN NOTES
yeah you saw this coming - why does admin notes show in language other than english? I have english version of the game so why on earth would you use slap huge notification across my screen in polish or german or french? It makes no sense...
REFINING
would it be possible to add a checkbox which would allow me to use whole stack of items instead of one? That would be great... or did you try to enchant your artifact with several hundred enchantments? It takes forever
your autofill function is kinda useless as it is now cos it first offer highest value
actually I found out that priority of items goes this way- personal bank>refining items (such as refining stones, pearls...)>slots in inventroy bag from top to bottom and its a great help as long as you don't have many items of value in bank (I moved most items to shared bank which is not affected) so it actually shows items you want to use to refine without the need to scroll down. Altho there is an issue, I would say bug, when you do this (use autofill and click the first item you can) really fast you often (I got 5 in half hour) get cryptic error and game crashes. Anyway easy fix would be if you add to general options an option to exclude bank slots from the selection therefor it would only allow you to pick from you bag.
LOOT
it is possible in some cases to lose loot when fighting on a bridge or narrow places for it drop down into lava/pit/other hellhole...
MAILBOX
would be great if you didn't have to delete (and confirm removal) posts from auction house. Just simply take off item/s and the post delete itself if no other items are attached - great help (I want them removed to prevent full maibox message I get all the time and for that I need them to be removed right away not in 5 days)
I found easier way to delete posts instead of moving to take item, moving mouse to delete and then moving mouse to OK (confirm delete post pop up) you can use enter key twice to confirm delete of the post so you actually move cursor only between take item and delete post which makes it significantly faster.
There is a way to improve it and that would be adding a option next to "Take item" button that would say "Take item/s and delete" (without confirmation to delete the post if it no longer contains items-there would still be confirmation if some items were left in the post due to full inventory) and even better option would be to get a script that would take items one by one as long as you have free inventory slots and deleting message from your alts/auction house which no longer have any attachment
HEALING POTIONS
I have no idea if its feature or bug, but sometimes i try to use potion in fight and it goes on cooldown without actually refilling my HP
PROFESSIONS
I have no idea what happened with those after module 4 patch, but now even when they should be completed for few hours they start going to "complete" state after I enter game with given character and they complete one by one which take ridiculously long time 5-7 seconds for one on 1 character +-7 slots so 35-49seconds per character with my 9 characters and changing profession tasks 2-3times a day this bug makes me waste hours! of my game time per month
BUYING IN BULK
some items can only be purchased by small amount or only one at a time (like event food on summer festival) making it tedious to buy lets say 50. Also Healing potions/skill nodes/injury kits stack at 99 but you can only buy 20 at once. Shouldn't be much of a problem to fix that.
CHAT
when I want to repeat message in given chat it's quite easy, but when I reply to someone on personal message I no longer can replicate message in communal forums, but only those I sent in PM. This leads to that players mostly ignore others rather than respond if not particularly interested in talking about asked subject because they would have to type their LFG/trade message anew if they responded
LOOKING FOR GROUP SYSTEM
this feature is kinda useless for dungeons (for playing pvp/skirmishes it's working fine) the reason why is that you have ridiculously low gear score values which allow players to enter epic dungeons and you prioritize some classes over others which leads to certain people misusing it (talking about ninja GFs joining on last boss during DD needing on everything including grey quality rusted arrowhead worth 1 copper)
here is how to fix that
-give the leader of the group possibility to chose gear score limit and/or classes which are able to join
-never let system autofill group while boss encounter is ongoing (and 5-10 seconds after the fight so the group can loot without having to share with newcomer whom didn't do nothing so far)
DEDICATED GREED RUN
I think many players would welcome option to make the group unable to roll "Need" on anything. I would suggest this - party leader may evoke "Greed run" on the beginning of dungeon. All players must agree (confirm pop up window like when lfg is on) to enforce this. From that moment on players can only greed or pass on all loot and it last until the dungeon is finished.
There is another positive effect to this - since none could "ninja" items you could turn off Vote kick while looting is ongoing and during boss fight and 5-10 seconds after boss is dead to prevent 3 or 4 players from same guild/friends kick the rest if something interesting drop (happened to me several times in past two months, it looks like new trend)
INVENTORY (thanks ethnya)
-Sort entire inventory: It's annoying having to hit the sort button on every bag, and then move stuff around to consolidate bags. Just sort it all to the top
CUTSCENES (thanks harkur)
-After I have seen the same cutscene X times, stop showing it to me. Assume I can remember the same scene from one day to the next.
-If I am in combat/have been agg'd don't put me in a cutscene.
-If I am in a cutscene and get agg'd drop the cutscene.
while I agree with the idea, it would require mass change of the code so I suggest it would be solved like this:
you put lot of work into making them and you want us to see them if any player was about to end them with lets say escape key none would see them from that point on so how about you would show cutscenes, but in limited window area I would suggest right top corner place it over the minimap and make the size of the movie screen square lets say 1,5times as big as the minimap circle's average (caliber?). This way you don't need to pause combat at all and players interested can just stand a few seconds and watch it others will continue without them
SKILLS (thanks antash69)
it would be nice to have two sets of skills players could choose from. Those would be chosen from skills player already have so no feat swapping would be necessary. Players would manually insert skills to slot 1 and change to slot 2 and manually insert skills there. After that player can change between skill sets while out of combat and all skills goes on cooldown when new set is chosen. This way players don't have to waste time switching skills when fighting mobs and bosses
HUNTER THORN WARD
could you please change the color of this effect since it looks like loot bag which contains green quality item? I often get confused by it and sometime there actually is a green item over the ward
GREEN QUALITY LVL 60 BELTS
what happened to those? I didn't see any drop, nor on AH (so I assume none drop at all) since the module 4 was released. Does it have something to do with artifact belts?

Dread Warrior doesn't register as being in your collection when you have it. The icon stays dark.
GROUND AREA EFFECTS
would be great if you allowed us to opt out persistent area effect like "Icy terrain" or "Astral shield" cast by other players. In epic heroic encounters (mainly dragons) it sometimes causes so many light source that I can't see anything on ground including boss red warning areas and sometimes there is so many flashing effects it look like my whole game have to load anew (no pictures of items in inventory etc). I wouldn't mind having option to surpass all other players spell effect or at least set them to minimum level of effectiveness while mine still be nice, flashy and showoff :]
INTERACTING WITH OTHER PLAYERS
while I can imagine someone would like to have same key for interacting with both items, NPCs and other players, I certainly don't. It causes a lot of swearing when I try (4th time) to interact with NPC which is "covered" by other players (sometimes on purpose) of when trying to pick up skill node and someone run across it and instead of skill node I click that player (I hate when this happen) so I was thinking when I would like to use a key to interact with other player with "F" key and the answer is surprise surprise - never!
Would it be possible to add an option to remove other players as a friendly interactable objects? It would make interacting with objects/NPCs MUCH easier.

The new refinement system is worse than the old one. If they were going to change it, they could've at least let you put in stacks of 99 enchants into refining.
As to your mailbox suggestion, i would prefer if the messages were not auto deleted as i keep some of them around to remind me how much i paid for an item. it would be nice to have a tick box beside each message though so you could select a large number at once instead of having to hold enter and mad click on delete.
My own suggestion is to add a mass buy (like many other people want). Spending 5000 petals buying food buffs is annoying and not fun when a slider could accomplish it so well. There was a slider added for buying 1-10 Flowers for Everyone packs after all...

that's exactly what I am suggesting
so how about adding option rather than deleting to preserve the post? so by default it would delete but when you're in post you can hit "save" button and it will work as now, cos i bet there is like 1000 posts you delete and one you save (or anyone else)
I also added muss buy to the post, that one slipped my mind :]
I think it does actually delete empty auction house posts, after 5 days or so.

the problem with posts is that you get your mailbox is full message so if they delete in 5 days how will that help today? you still need to go there and delete them

you should not have several hundred of enchant, so it is not their problem, the new "drag-in" system is really useful
And here I thought my TR was just that squishy...would explain so much about my many deaths at the hands of bosses -_- (admittedly he IS squishy, but still...)
why should I not have them? they are both available on AH and they drop from boxes which you get from Leadership profession if you store those for 2 weeks/month they pile up from multiple characters so yes that's an issue

a)this game doesn't run on real life physics, there are no broken arms, torn limbs, piercing wounds, monsters doesn't fall down depending on which part you hit
b) I said it's ugly I never said it's unrealistic
c) yes you can dye a weapon try it yourself...

-Flashing Action-Point Orb: it bleeds through content that is windows on top of it, really annoying
This was implemented a LONG time ago; just leave the messages alone and they will automatically delete after a while (can't remember exactly how many days, maybe 21 or 30?)

this matter is not that simple, I observed that during cutscenes your cooldown continue dots on mobs wear off, but neither you nor mobs are getting any dmg so you can't simply end cutscene for one person and have it on other one because what would mobs do so wither remove it completely or find other solution I thought of one earlier, adding it to OP
And yes sometimes your robes fall up, and sometimes your tail looks downright funny! Thief king wedding dress while riding horse has tremendous clipping issues!
Fashion for tails sounds cool but idk what I'd use. Probably black ribbon? I'm not sure.

it certainly would, but it also would lessen the amount of AD players pay for changing skill. Since this game is on free to play basis I don't believe that kind of change is going to happen and if, only on some sort of boon unlock - let's say you buy for 5000ZEN ability to have two skill sets which you can change while out of combat and all skills go on cooldown once they're changed
I agree on most of your ideas, however I would seen LFG system little bit different. First of all leader should have the possibility to invite manually particular player (when inside the dungeon), so there is no need to fill a spot after a CW with a GF from the queue... And this also should apply in general, Warlocks can be great healers, sometimes tank is not needed, so let the leader choose who he wants in his group.
Gear score is a different case, it isn't that much important, and ppl on LFG channel mostly have some ridiculous requirements, but if leader could accept player before he would be invited to join, case would be solved.

Very frustrating when someone disonnects and can't/won't/doesn't come back and you know a friend/guildmate would be willing to join but can't unless they get lucky and hit your queue. "I'm sorry that you're at Valindra's door and your DC dropped out or lost his/her internet. Too bad. Drop party and queue again. All of your progress thru the dungeon this time was for naught."
