Patch Server down? (Mod Answered, post #78+)

Is there a problem with the patch server? I'm unable to log onto Neverwinter this morning. It keeps "trying to update the launcher" then fails a minute later saying it's "unable to locate the patch server" and suggests I check my connection. I'm buzzing along at normal speeds....

Anyone else having a logon issue this morning? Is it possible this morning's earthquake unnerved NW's server hamsters?

    same here. Actually froze me when zoning into ghost stories, so I closed the game and restarted, unable to get in either

    Folks, the servers are physically located in the same area hit by the 6.0 earthquake today, which is possibly why they are down. Give 'em time.

    Game froze on me between zones,, now im getting patch server connection failed error as well,, though my internet is fine

    Hello, Up to about half an hour ago, the game ran well. I loged off as usual, no problems. But now after half an hour, I tried to log on and it keeps saying "Trying to Update the launcher, Please be patient. Tried connecting 5 times." and then it brings up a window saying i have a connection problem. I can access the website fine, in fact my other online applications work just fine.

    I'm running Neverwinter on PlayOnLinux.
    Operating system is Ubuntu 14.04.

    Please help.

    Having this issue as well, saw posted as another feed. It seems to be a problem for many of us trying to get our game on.

    Same problem, let's wait them to fix it. I bet someone woke up there with a hangover and triped on the server's power wire.

    And lets hope this is just a connection problem, don't want a Caturday again........

    I have absolute faith in the Devs. After having seen how they handled the Linux issue after the Module 4 update, i'm sure a fix will come soon.

    I'm not sure it's effecting everybody. As far as i know, i see a lot of other people having the same issue.

    Same issues as of 8 am MDT ... didn't know about the earthquake , hope everyone is fine
    And on a purely selfish level... Hope the game is back by the time i get home from work :)
