Chat Offline?

Chat Offline, Friends list etc also offline.

    Yep.. if i try to use a emote, it tells me the global chat server is offline.

    I was in the middle of a very important conversation and suddenly I was unable to chat! I type the message and it doesn't get delivered! I've tried relogging twice, I've tried changing to guild chat (it won't even recognize that there is a guild chat), I tried changing to Say, nothing! somebody please help!

    WEll, chat offline is very often in this game. Sometimes it's for hour sometimes for few hours. Get used to improvisation...

    can't mail anything either, you get a "Internal Chat Server Error" message.

    it also says i have no friends on neverwinter hope that's part of it

    That's because it wasn't so often in mod 3 but in mod 2 and 1 veery often.

    so it's a returning glitch that they need to fix. I played for the tail end of mod 2, left just before mod 3, and came back a month ago.

    I played extensively from beta through every mod including this. THis is the first time I have seen it happen, so to say it happened offten is an huge overstatement. Further no one in my guild can ever remember this either, all have pretty much played since beta.

    Yea, this is plain BS. The chat server is global for all of Cryptic games. Its not just part of Neverwinter. Ive been here as part of CO and STO, even before Neverwinter. And can honestly say, its rare the chat system ever has problems.

    You can clearly see its also effecting the other games as well.

    Well if u can't play pvp because it is pointless without communication or any other instances. You bet no one is happy about it.

    It may be from the ticket I sent in about my PM not working. Although it's hard to believe they'd bring down chat for one ticket, unless others are having the same issue?

    I played before other mmo for some time and i have never ever had situation i had to leave isntance because we were unable to finish it without communication. And if it happens to this game(i had lost at least few instances because of chat offline for hour or longer) it means that it is definitely fault of people who run it. Well i am surprised telling this regarding how previous game was made for those people who pay-winners, but comparison developers in previous games would never had problems as i've experienced here(forum zero object is good one too).
