Why? GWF is not a standing tank. That's the GF. GWF is the barbarian, and that class is usually an high mobility one charging ffrom one foe to the next one. You got used to play it like a sort of immovable/invulnerable meatgrinder but that's not how it is supposed to be.

lol he don't even think to cumulate run and inflex and honestly between run and inflex sentinel is practicaly better tank than GF since they can turn practicaly always at max DR (40 from build + 20 from sentinel = 60 and each time he is in inflex or run : bam 80% DR

High Dr does not make them a better Tank than GF , because no matter how you spec a GWF now , they will not grab aggro the way a GF does.

Well, I am not happy about the changes to the emperor shirt/pants, or that it seems we will be getting random legendary items, and I expect to see quite a few bugs once this launches, but overall, it seems the developers did a massive amount of work in the last week....A week ago I was somewhat doubtful that the module would reach even the current state by the deadline....so, good work there.
    Hoping for improvements...

I was hitching every so often while moving around PE and was also previously affected by the 8-core client crash. I thought it was because I hadn't rebooted my PC in forever, but not if others are experiencing it.

so on lvl 3 its 30% more single target and 10% less aoe dmg ?
Or is that just a little visual mistake which might lead to wrong conclusions?

    ^^

this.... Can anyone confirm its a 10% reduction at max rank to AE, while a 30% increase to single target?

They typed it as that at least twice so far, but it still looks like a typo to me (it doesn't make much sense to put any points in unless you max it).

GWF got a major nerf to survival a 10%-15% nerf to unstoppable, less determination so that they'll have unstoppable less. I played around doing HE's on my destroyer build gwf and it just is not fun with that nerf. You're far to squishy to be standing in the middle of a pack aoe'ing now, and that was in a full titan set, not a aow set. Yeah you can dart in and out but that defeats the purpose of how the class is suppossed to be played.

That means you'll need a GF in your to get all the threat and/or a DC just like all the other DPS classes instead of the CW/GWF only groups of the past. You'll do even more damage and get hit a lot less, so you won't even need unstoppable.

So have fun with pillbox turret HRs that do not stand in AShield or HG, to maintain their Stillness of the Forest Crit Bonus.
HR has officially been turned into a '1 Feat Path Only' Class once and for all, point of the class changes missed due to PATHFINDER HRs being out of whack when running with gear that most likely 90% of the HRs will never have, and the resulting from that 'Elite Pro PvPer' whining.

    Classes and Balance

Storm Spell: Activation Chance increased to 35%. Damage increased by roughly 100%.....

Storm Spell: Chance to activate reduced to 20% (down from 35%).

Ok, you now have me thoroughly confused. So what is the activation chance, 20 or 35%

No it just means that other classes will do it better.

It isn't a typo , the whole point of the feat is to increase single target dps but at the expense of lowering aoe dps but you are correct in saying that you do need to max it so as not to gimp yourself.

It's 20% , the tooltip on preview has been updated too.

So, to sum it up, should I sleep well tonight and do not expect PE and forums turning into Blacklake District rulled by toxic and selfish mages (that's how my friend called m4 first day aftermath but IMO Chasm is something more appropriate) or just stay awake and excitedly wait till maintenance ends so I can finally play the class I've been waiting for a long time?
I just don't like all those rumors about broken CW powers.

They remember, here is a quote from bug forum.

I think we may have found the cause of this, but it will probably not make it for release as it is not an easy or safe fix.

Edit:Looks like Repel was pushing with too much force and knocking people off their chairs.

I'm pretty sure it means you will only get, for example, Exotic pelts and leather off lvl 45+ mobs, rather than getting a chance for Tough pelts/leather.

The three tiers are simple/tough/exotic leather for leatherworking, wool/cotton/shimmerweave cloth for tailoring, etc.
    panderus wrote: »
    That is correct.

This means, for me with 10 level 60 toon, in order to obtain normal leather I either go and farm in low level areas or I buy in large quantities from
"players that perform simple tasks repetitiously in a very predictable way in a perfection that is admiringly close to an automated process".
I am not sure it is smart to open this avenue to drain my AD, but it I am certain that someone thought about this avenue and deemed it very unlikely.

    TL/DR
I hate giving my ADs to farmbots as I already did that to acquire stacks of R5 enchants 2 months ago.

Spoken like someone who knows how to tank :) So many players think they can tank just cos they can take or avoid damage....that is only 1/3 of what it is to be a good tank...

Now GWF actually have to use a bit more skill and thought when playing instead of just charging to mass enemies without a thought, which should make it more interesting to play for many :)

I am concerned that CWs r still going to be too powerful compared to other damage classes still, but I like the buffs to MoF and the more emphasis on control as that is half their role in parties.

@panderus: Still no fix for the missing TR walk animation/screwed up run/stand transition? :/ It's been over a month this has been on preview, and I guess it's going live in a few minutes. I am... Disappointed. TR already is going to be unusable and inferior to every other class until Mod 5, at least throw us the bone of not having our animations screwed up. >_<

Indeed, imo, TRs had the nicest walk animation, bring it back !

GF's have had a list of every bug of feats, armor, skills, powers for over a week... it hasn't even been given a look lol. Not even things we want changed to make us better. Literally things that are broken, and 100% do not work. still... nothing. GG Cryptic. At least we have a 75 dollar pack with a new P2W race right? Fix the little things and you wouldn't have lost hundreds of thousands of players in the last year...

Maybe it isn't the players that are the problem? I could be crazy, but your lack of attention to detail like just this little thing for rogues is a BIG deal to a dwindling player base.

    Indeed.

My TR is my main. If I get on, which hasn't been every day lately, I get on him. He's the one with all the boons, all the enchants, all the artifacts, all the everything. He's the one I put my time and occasionally money into.

Cryptic's already told me they don't value this by confirming that TRs and DCs won't even get touched until Mod 5 in another three months. Instead, GWF gets its third rework, HR its second... TR gets an unneeded nerf to a PvE power, and loses its walk animation somehow.

I don't care about SW. It didn't interest me on preview, and gearing a new character is too expensive, plus with the chest bug... I care about my TR, who is still uselessly nerfed and replaced with a new shiny single-target striker, who's gotten its animations redone because people complained! And yet, somehow, my class, the one I've played since closed beta, the one I care about, has gotten stomped on again and LOST an animation. This matters to me. A lot. And it does not give me confidence or inspire me to wait patiently until they finally deign to look at my class(and probably nerf it when it desperately needs buffs). It makes me want to not spend money, it makes me want to log in less frequently, it makes me care less.

I note the maximum players per zone for Neverdeath Graveyard has not been adjusted from the normal 15.

This should make it rather difficult to get 8-12 players in a zone together to do a Dragon HE. Lest of course you use the party system and move to their instance to bypass that limit...
