Its a step that some people are getting perma'd, but frankly if a majority of the r10 , perfect enchant crowd isnt hit with perma's this isnt going to stop.
When you see someone who has been here less time then yourself, and see them fully fleshed out, its not a matter of being in top end guild in this game, farming high end raids, its just a matter of being either a black market purchaser or a exploiter or both. I CANT imagine that a 3 month 1 toon person just spend 2k of his own money to get all of this.. now maybe they spend 200 instead, or got tons of AD by hints from fellow guild members as well.. all sad.
Yes, I know some of them did it legit and , yes, I know some of you have been here since beta (which is another debatable topic , apparently, where your AD did come from then as well)
But frankly, NO one should roll into this game and have r10s and perfects in a mere matter of months.
Also, this whole suggestion to disable leadership is the biggest crock int the world, this latest exploit just shows where the non legit players got thier funds. ME having 4 toons praying and crafting leadership.. DOESN'T generate nearly that much cash.
Sadly, in SPITE of all this, cryptic is WAY to worried about covering it all up with a band-aid by releasing MoD 4 then fixing DD chests and fixing Bi Drops for people and installing some confidence that this game will be playable at all!
Its not like I don't like new content, but darn, its just not a "little" bug on those chests, its huge and should be #1 priority after Thursday (or whatever emergency patch will be followed for fixing the after Thursday patch).
They COULD also install some confidence into the player-base by Addressing these issues directly as well.
1. DD chests , what is the status of the fix?
2. BI drops, please LOOK into the drop rate, its just not working and a vast majority of playerbase is left exasperated of doing HE after HE and getting nothing in return for the wasted time. Its not fun and hence needs to be tweaked.

Just click it and your characters eyes glow and you get a trail to follow to a whirly pink/purple thing that you interact with and then get between 40 and 50k refined AD , I have two but theres no way in hell I'm risking it two days before a new module xD
Personnaly, I will not use a resonator again. Never... There is a witch hunt. People and system are mad. That's it... i was burned. It's better to wait.

I have been opening some boxes and getting planar idols and such. I went through Rhix and bought the Resonators and then just used then like I always have. Got the AD like usual and I have continued playing.
Sorry, I do not know what the actual exploit was so I do not know if I am doing anything wrong. I am just doing what the game tells me to do with items it gives me. If that is an exploit then Cryptic is even more snafu-ed than I thought.
BTW - Bought the boxes with real $$$ traded on the ZAX. (Bad exchange rate I know but I wanted to see if the drop rates were still nerfed - $30 worth later I can report they are. Not one box dropped anything of value.)

If you are just using the resonators normally, then you should not have anything to worry about. The keyword is "should", as some actions have made people nervous about doing even that much.
Threads like this make me miss my old torch and pitchfork stand. I'd make a fortune had I kept it. After all, can't have an angry mob without a torch or pitchfork.

I've just loaded in to PE, but I shall take your advice and go back to the grind in IWD :-D
