Warlock, I've wanted to play one in an mmo since I started playing DDO something like 5 or 6 years ago. Just can't decide if I'm going to go max dps with fury or dps with a side of support with temptation.

Why not try one of each?! If you have the extra character slots . . .

I have stuff in bank ready for the warlock.
But the boon system looks nice this time around, much better then the meh ones in IWD, sadly Mod 3 was a pretty low point for actual pve content in this game, but maybe a high point in terms of pvp balance, which funny enough we are loosing in name of balance for mod 4.. round, n , round we go.
I think the gf players will be happy for mod 4 at least =P
Thats not a complaint just a general observation.
I cant decide if Ill pop a SW right out at the start, or wait a couple of weeks, the thought being , more items will be on sale by then for the class. I do have Xvim /mully items ready to go, but with no weapon , and none for the AH to start with and Im NOT going to pay the 500k or more it will command at the start of mod4 for one, so If I wait 2-4 weeks, I wonder how much just blues will cost for the class at that point.
The case of bubble wrap. Because we mods are SO going to need it.
LOL.. you dont even know , so like 10% of the community even tries testing, out of that 10% post on the forums..
You just wait until the other 90% who may not have a clue, roll out Thursday afternoon with their CWs or gwfs and come here =P...

I'm really looking forward to the new balance changes on the classes. Personally, I think they've done a great job of defining different roles better, and it'll be fun to see more parties of mixed classes.
Plus (despite some objectives) I think the CW changes are going to be pretty sweet.
Dragons and Warlocks I have to agree with... I've got a few toons camped at around level 30, so looking forward to running them through the new content. Also really looking forward to playing my GF again.

That my guild becomes more active again.
When the game started we had one main guild and 2 sister guilds, with 1500 people all in all (we all come from the same forum). This has melted down to maybe 10-20 active players. We had a short spike again around Icewind Dale, but that was too little content and activity quickly dropped.
Module 4 seems to bring a lot more meat to the table and I hope this will spark activity again.
(oh yes...and Warlocks)

For me, Module 4 is much, much better than module 3, and I have quite a few things to look forward to.
1) The Warlock. I gave one character of every class and will be adding a warlock right away - Human or tiefling, male or female...haven't decided yet.
2) The boons. They all look great, unlike...ehm...sorry...I had almost started complaining here
3) Tbe artifact belts and their refining system, except ....eh...sorry...I promise...no complaints.
4) The artifact weapons, although there is this one issue that...oops...sorry...
5) The GF changes - I had basically shelved my GF, was so tired at how long he took to solo relatively easy content like the Dread Ring daily instances, compared to my DC, HR and TR. He looks a lot more interesting now.
6) The new armor reinforcement kits ... being able to add 200 stat points relatively cheaply, or 400 points for...eh....quite a bit more is quite interesting ... you get relatively much more per AD than by going, say, from a R9 to a R10 enchant.
7) The new dungeon/skirmish - sure, the dungeon is short and linear, but at least we are getting something other than just an endless stream of adds.
8) The new armor set. This is at the bottom of the list - I'll probably try to get it for my main, as it seems a viable upgrade for my Miracle Healer set which I use, uhm...maybe 5% of the time, but this is not a big point for me.
Now, a few days ago, I would have said that I looked forward to the invisible Emperor shirt/pants, but that's no longer on my list - if you want to know why, read this thread
The new Dragon HEs look like fun, I'm also looking forward to the new race, but it's definitely the Warlock Class - something I've been itching for since beta. This is the most exciting thing for me. But overall - Mod 4 is a really exciting (and hefty) package as a whole.
im looking for a rework to TR and i like the feel of the new HR, powerful as archer and healing based (like blessed from the nature) as melee combatant
First and foremost, getting to use my GF in party content and feel useful doing so. She'll get her angel a week after the mod launches and apart from running the three PVE campaigns, has been cooling her heels a long time. I've gotten her a Blacksmith and Evoker and leveled them up, gotten her artifacts to epic and have been working on her enchants. Made an effort to get some more armor but the bug has stopped that for now.
Hoping to have fun with my GWF again. She's from Beta and suffered through the bad times. It was great to suddenly be welcome in groups when Mod2 launched but I've gotten tired of the 'stand in red, hit TAB to win' gameplay. Could sort of say the thing for my CW but the changes there are going to require a lot of relearning the class I think.

I didn't tinker with the SW much on the preview but so far can't say its really got me to jazzed up, I have two CW and pretty much one of every other class so more or less I think i'm looking forward more to seeing what the new skirmish and dungeon is like than playing another class to get there.
If I had to pick something to be excited about, fighting that white dragon I think ranks right up there as that thing just looks awesome. Even if it eats me i'm thinking it will be fun to actually see and fight it.

An abundance of dragons to fight is secondary to the new class - also cool!

I-I mean, non-IWD content ...

Some of the new overload enchantments look pretty sweet too.
