They did not fix anything on the major bug lists, some things they changed do not seem to hold true (i don't see Tenser's disc or the new companion in the market), they changed things that are not listed in the change notes (all times ingame now use a dot after days/hour/minutes etc.), the time remaining for crafting jobs is now behind the bar because somehow they did not only change the formatting of the string, but also positioning, so they *broke* working things to sneak in a change to things no one had any issues with..thats not what i would call "great job".
... some things they changed do not seem to hold true (i don't see Tenser's disc or the new companion in the market), ...
Really?
I see Tensers Floating Disc right in the raised center of Shaundakul Stables.
I also see the Laughing Skull right outside the front of the Grand Emporium.
Not a bug, but a suggestion. Dungeon groups should be made so that you aren't allowed to kick someone AFTER completing the dungeon. I got kicked from Valindra's after killing her and the group kicked me. Granted, it's not the worse thing in the world, but it's a really annoying issue that waste's people's time.
My friend was told about this some weeks ago, put a bug report and requested GM help to see if the stats could be fixed. The tickets were acknowledged and a week later he was banned. [...] Some people exploit, some people find a bug and report it. PWE has no idea how to manage a company.
Same here, I reported it immediately after I found it and got banned later. By doing so, they discourages people from reporting bugs/exploits. I probably never report an exploit again, because it's pointless - you got banned anyway...
The best way to get rid of an exploit is to make it public on third party sites anyway. All things that "leaked" that way have been fixed asap. People said they have been reporting genaddwindow for month, yet it was fixed not until it went public.
Pro tip - next time don't actually use the exploit before reporting it , reporting a exploit doesn't give you some kind of immunity from having action taken against your account .
True, but sometimes you cannot find an exploit/bug without trying & testing different ways and behavior. I do not agree partially, in accordance with the TOS - if you find an bug/exploit you must report it immediately, but you cannot abuse it. If you follow the TOS - it shouldn't be banned.
So you genuinely believe that nobody knew that a devcommand that allowed players to reroll their base ability scores plus add an extra 2 points to them was not intended? you actually honestly believe that?
You know it is an ability that we cannot even use real money to do and nobody knew it was a bug? are you seriously for real?
How EASILY, this turned into and off topic flame about dev commands! Maybe we can stick to the issues? Like fixing the bugs that give unfair advantages to other players, like the GWF Roar bug? I get hit with that, it clears everything I had on the GWF and stuns me. It is supposed to be a pushback and interrupt, NOT A STUN. I have a GWF at 60 and even I think he is Overpowered. Sadly, this issues has gone on far too long. Instead of fixing game issues, it is more about making the zen market profitable with new mounts and stuff?
Ever since the last release, the Astral Diamond Exchange has not moved from cap and it takes an excruciatingly long time to even trade AD at cap of 500. Takes on average 3 to 4 days. So, maybe that should be fix or just set a fixed exchange up for people that don't want to market stuff, make a fixed exchange available.
Rogues are messed up too, GWF can hit at almost a 15 meter range with thier hits and I can be right next to someone with lashing blade and it will miss. However, a GWF gets a shorter cooldown if he misses. Rogues, burn up a encounter power and just have to suck it up? How much code is really involved in copying the GWF miss and pasting it into the Rogues Lashing Blade?
Hunters one great ability is constantly worthless because of the interrupts. You never get it off. I could understand a pushback or shorten the time on it if it is interrupted. If it is 3 second cast and gets interrupted then let the next one be 1.5 seconds. I don't see Control Wizards getting interrupted with thier instacast Area Effect stuff that does HUGE damage. They push a ball out, that knocks you prone, then you have to dodge it after getting up and realistically, is next to impossible after a prone. If it is going to have a prone, CUT the DAMAGE. That is like a double whammy. Or if that is the case, then when a HR gets binding arrow, it should prone the person first then bind them when they get up to move. GWF's get bound hit unstobbable and binding arrow is useless. If it proned them, HR's would have a fighting chance because you know a GWF is going to hit unstoppable and come after you and then they are immune to it. The time frames just don't work and HR's get burned down repeatedly unless somone else is taking the damage for like geared players. A HR that is same Gear Scored as any other class will get burned down.
I play a variety of characters and see what might even the playing field, GEARING A GAME TO DEATH is a sign of certain doom. Every game I have jumped from was because it all came down to gear and not player "tenacity", player intution and player skill. Out Gearing someone just means that someone spends more time on the game than in real life or has a bigger debit card/checkbook. For average players that would actually spend money, we get tired of Credit Card Warriors because when we work hard and save up, and it is an even playing field we wipe them all over; you come out with another module that lets them buy their way to the top again. It gets tiring and drives people away from your game, not to it.
I get the business end of it and every company wants to make money, but I spent money on the game the first week and have not bothered since, because they don't fix things. Coming out with a shiney, pretty new module, with all the same bugs and problems as before is not a good trade off. Oh, looky a new place to run around, but I still get maxed in pvp because the known bugs were not fixed.
So, I have had more than my 15 minutes of fame and I am sure there will be plenty of replies.
If there is anything offensive in my in my post, if you are a moderator and edit it. I just ask that you **** out what you want and not change the content. I would rather I come back to read it later and see that there was something someone didn't like so I will avoid that in future posts.
Zaurixx (a fairly happy player, who wishes bugs would be fixed).
Anyone have problems logging into the PTR? I transferred a character over the loading bar fills on login but then instantly crashes, the same happens if I make a new character also. Anyone had the same or got a fix please ?

The problem is you have an 8-core AMD. The solution (for now) is to disable 4 cores.

We once had to kick someone who think its funny to roll need at the last boss even if we all agreed to greed - and greed before.
Suggestions to improve NW:
- Dualspec
- Better rewarding foundry and foundry pvp maps
- Custom PvP leagues with leaderboards instead of the current 'matchmaking'.
- Armory
- make jumping cost stamina (to reduce hopping in pvp)

I don't believe in kicking for needing, if they really need the stuff. If they don't need it, well, then you just ignore said person and you wont have to run with them again.

/ignore does nothing but block chat. It does not prevent grouping.

it would actually be great to have a /blacklist command that would guarantee that you would never end up in a random group with the person and would prevent invites too.
Unlikely to happen, though.
Hoping for improvements...
