Looks like you shared your password or have been hacked (I guess your PW is 123456 or something like that), someone put fireworks on sale for all your ADs, bought the fireworks with your characters, and sold your stuff or mailed it.

Yeah this is most likely what happened:

    You got hacked.

The hacker put up fireworks on AH(with his account), the price was every AD you had.

He bought the fireworks from your account(thus he got all your AD).

The small amount you had left was probably another auction which went backwards (item was put up with your account for cheap, he bought it on his).

BTW showing your LOGIN as @login_here in-game and forum name=LOGIN is a brilliant idea. The man who did it deserves a medal. Made of iron. 200 kg. And a Repel spell into the ocean.

Your @handle does not have to be the same as your login name. Depending on how you created your account, you had a way to make them different.

My @handle and login name are not the same.

If it is the same then you can submit a request to have your @handle changed to something different, it's currently the only reason they'll change it.

I saw quite a few enchantments with negative expiration dates in the AH. I was about to buy them before I remember the negative AD price items, and figured it was just another exploit. I just went and bought some with regular expiration dates and everything worked out fine.

Frankly, unless you're new, I'm not sure how this same thought process didn't occur to you. It's a bummer though, huh?

The @handle isnt the biggest issue these days its the ability to log in with your email. Most people fling their email about and give to everybody else and their aunts. Once a dodgy lot know your email they can use that instead of your account name. Make a PWE only email account and DO NOT use it anywhere else.

    Hi,

I've seem to encountered a similar problem. Literally about 10 minutes ago I tried to purchase a companion off the auction house. The bid started at 3AD with a buyout price of 4000AD. The remaining time was 4 days and 4000AD doesn't seem much to me so I bought it out. Weirdly the companion doesn't seem to be in my inventory, companion inventory or my bank. Is there something I'm missing here or have I been ripped off?

I decided to just buy another companion through the companion store. Shortly after I checked my mail and realised I had to claim the companion through there. I now have 2 of the same companion (facepalm).

I thought that at first as well. But they didn't sell any of my gear or crafting assests if that was the case. And why would they leave some currency as opposed to taking it all? Not to mention the two strange mails I received. If a GM looks at the logs either way, they will be able to see something out of the ordinary.
I experienced something like this in Lord of the Rings Online. When I logged in one day, my money was cut to a third of what it was supposed to be, and a lot of stuff was gone. My best guess is someone hacked the account, but left a lot of stuff to try to cover their tracks. I mean, a third of my money was still there, and some expensive items were still there. In theory, it could make me think I had just misplaced something, or spent more money than I thought. Clever, but not good enough.
