Cannot Login Character (Normal/Safe Login Error)

Is anyone else having issues logging in? I was able to play for about 10 minutes after maintenance was completed, but have not been able to get in game with any of my characters since. The launcher opens, does it's thing, i click play, neverwinter opens, but at first i was getting stuck with a "login timeout" error, now it's a "gameserver not found" error

UPDATE: I am able to log in with some of my characters, but not all. :-( My first three toons will log in, but not my last two

Hi all

I need help... in this last patching i have a problem

Can`t log mi char, in the select character appear the next message:

"an error ocurred while transferring this character its destination map.
would you like to safely log this character`s last non-mission map, or attempt to login normally?"

CANCEL NORMAL LOGIN and SAFE LOGIN

I try normal, and safe login too, but nothing... please, help me...

me too, able to login to 2 toons. 3rd in helms hold not able to either in regular or safe character load, get server timed out message. force verifying atm. which seems to mean patch like im loading the game for the first time. ill see what happens. other suggestion was to launch game in safe mode....

I logged my HR, was realling hoping to see respect token, none for me...not that I want anything to do with the other paragon path, but they bolstered some of the powers to the point that I would have built him different if I could do again...and its not like they made just one change. they made many which is why I feel a token is in order.

How long have you waited offline before attempting to log in again? Go grab a bite to eat or do a couple exercises for about 15 minutes and then try again, hopefully that will clear your character from it's weird state. You might also want to try logging into a different character and then switch characters to the one that was having the issue.

If the problem persists, please file a Support Ticket.

(By the way, whenever I have had this happen, I've always chosen Normal Login and was logged in normally.)

Thanks for answer, but i create one character, enter the game normally.
Use change character in game, select the pj bad, and nothing. Have the same problem

I dont know what more need!

I can't login with one of my characters, either in normal or safe mode. She is in Helm's Hold too.

Thanks for the reply! I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience this is causing. It sounds like others are also having this issue. I'm forwarding this to my CM so he can make sure the Devs know as soon as they're in the office (they should actually be just getting in).

The game does not allow me to login to my character in game slot 2. They were last in Helm's Hold. When I try to login, it gives me the Cancel-Normal Login-Safe Login options.

Whether I choose Normal Login or Safe Login, it times out during the login.

This started after today's patch. I had logged into this character prior to the patch this morning.

I have three character slots. It is only happening to my character in slot 2. Slot 1 and slot 3 load my characters fine.

i only have one character, but its not in helms deep but i cant login into it either. i select the character and go to the loading screen after but it slowly loads like 1/4th of the way and then times me out.

I can't log in with 1 of my characters at all. Its the melee/ranged quest removal script bugging me. I know this because i abandoned that quest a day ago when i recieved it in error on only that character.

tried safe mode. turned down all graphics also while at character loading screen. nothing, just keeps timing out after a couple minutes.

I hope it gets fixed soon, was finally going to get to play with my husband tonight.

I think it is related to the map the toon is on. One of the toons that won't work is in Blackdagger ruins, the other is in Vellosk. I tried traveling to those maps with the characters that can get in, and i get dumped back to the log-in screen, upon logging that toon back in, they didn't switch maps.

that makes sense, my HR is in blackdagger ruins. keeps prompting me to safe login to last non mission map. but just doesnt want to.

Same here, just it's my first slot. I was in Helm's Hold when I logged out last night and now IO time out when ever I try to log onto him. I made a new character to check if it was an issue with my connection, NOPE! Hunter Range logged in just fine!

I hope this gets fixed soon, I sent in a detailed report to support. :c

i cant login my chars aswell , 1 standing in Protectors Enclave and 2 in Helms Hold , always get timeout loging in chars message

Same here..Last character slot..Lv 31 CW. If I remember correctly, he is stranded in Blackdagger.

Well, since i have to wait anyway, it was suggested to turn off on demand patching, and turn on force verify in the launcher options. If that fixes my issues I'll update this post.
UPDATE: turning off on demand patching added about 5 gigs to download, so, one way or the other, when it's done this issues should be fixed.
