Because of my busy work schedule, I seldom find idle time to sit for hours in front of a PC or my PS3. But sometimes doctors must take a vacation and relieve some stress.
Online games
Neverwinter - Just started
Champions Online - Two years
Guild Wars - Two years
Star Trek Online - No longer active
DC Universe Online - PS3 Only
Battle of the Immortals - No longer active
Entropia Universe - No longer active
Rift - No longer active
Other Games I Like
Bioshock
Psychonauts
Spore
Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory
Star Trek Online (more than four years now)
Champions Online (during my "boredom breaks" from STO)
Neverwinter (duh)
Forsaken World - just another PWE game I'm experimenting with, but not so thrilled with it.
I'm a casual game-player, I know way better than to 1) take this stuff too seriously and 2) spend too much time playing games.
Oh, and offline: MS Flight Simulator X, for when my internets is summing-down.
Bought and played many other "offline" games, including Skyrim - but that one just bored the helloutamee. Hence: zero interest in even looking at ESO or whatever they're calling it now.
If they keep the system they used for the other games, I would have to agree.
Elder Scrolls has a massive database. My IT buddy was showing me how every item in the game is accounted for and is assigned ownership. Even the gold coins! For example; If your character steals a plate and a fork from a house and sells them to a merchant. They get reassigned ownership to the merchant. The merchant's gold is reassigned to your character. This is why a merchant can run out of cash in the game. I really hope they keep that aspect in the MMO that could help make a balanced economy system.
I forgot also I play the Fable series on XBox. But I recently lost it to the RRoD, I don't miss the XBox just Fable.
I'll probably discontinue ESO once my free month is up for one reason: Gear Degradation.
They had it in Oblivion where you could grind blacksmith skill early and not worry about it, then removed it for Skyrim which was great but they needed a gold sink for the mmo and brought it back. This alone is enough for me to quit. I mean you get stuck due to lag/colision/bug, in the environment, use the /stuck command and die to respawn at your last waypoint, your gear degrades with use and death so basicaly you have to pay gold to get unstuck... yeah no thanks.

Only thing I play for the time would be... 'Fallout New Vegas'
But seriously I 'was' always a hardcore gamer. Only due to many commissions, art projects, University (not related to art at all since it's business IT related XD) I kind of lack time for play... and sleep... gods bless Caffeine !!!

Now Besides NW I'm playing Tera. The graphics are what always get me back to it, the game is so **** beautiful! Also I'm a sucker for open world MMO,s I like to explore around. (that is the thing I dislike the most about NW, I wish they went the open world way, but I know how cryptic's engine works...) and also I love my sexy male castanic. I loathe The elin though, anime girls are really not my thing.
I'll try Archeage when it's out, that's for sure.
Hi, I want to ask a question. Diablo III is sort of expensive and I've seen the box and stuff - but like could you tell me if I'd like it? I play the Rise of Nations series, Age of Mythology, Runescape, and formerly Perfect World (I'm now playing Neverwinter). Would you recommend Diablo III? For example, what is it about?
I put in to play beta of the new upcoming Perfect World "Swordsman" and I got an Alpha invite! (Woot!) It's Martial Arts based and *very* Chinese Culturally-themed. I'm looking forward to it.
This one looks like it will outright require ARC Client but I'm okay with that. Should be fun.
