Need help redeeming your free Arc gifts? Look here!

Hey everybody!

We've received some questions about how to redeem your free Arc gifts. Here are a couple of easy steps:
  1. Head to the Neverwinter website to grab your free Arc gifts codes for Neverwinter and other Perfect World/Cryptic Studios titles.
  2. Redeem your code through the Arc Client by pressing the "Redeem Key" button. You can find this by clicking on ARC Logo in the upper left hand corner of the ARC client.
  3. Head over to the Rewards Claim Agent in Protector's Enclave to receive your free Neverwinter gifts. The Renegade Illusionist companion will be in the Promo tab.

    The first time I entered the redeem code it seemed to work just fine, but the gift redeemer man did not have my items. So, I tried entering the code again and it said that the code is invalid (and does not follow the key formats). I checked again today and it shows the code redeemed on 2/1/14 but it doesn't show a server or character, and the rewards claim agent still doesn't have anything for me.

    Okay Why send messages to both my characters if only one is eligible to receive the free gift??
    This makes no sense. I was able to use the Redeem Key to get the free Arc Gift on one character. Even though my second character had the mail information, he was unable to claim a free Arc Gift.
    If this was supposed to be on only one character, say so and not be sending multiple messages. It just confuses a person.

    It is a blanket msg that gets sent to all characters on that account.

    Where is this "Redeem Key" button. I see nothing on Arc either on the client itself nor on my profile when logged in through a web browser. The only "Redeem Key" link I can find is on my PW account page which appears to be for a Beta key as it will not accept the Arc reward key.

    You have to click on your name on the arc client in the top right hand corner

    Same here. Never got companion. Just submitted a ticket. Did you ever get yours?

    If you have entered the code thru ARC and have gone to the rewards claim agent. It won't be on the default tab that opens up, it is on the Promo tab that you have to switch to. Nothing gets mailed to you.

    It will be located on the promo tab at the rewards vendor

    I got a companion for all my alts in the same account, in fact, i can get more than 1 companion per alt, although kind of useless to have more than 1.. :D

    But I can only claim 2 Vanguard bags (total) instead of 1 bag each for my alts. Is this working as intended or is this a bug?

    The Vanguard bags is working as intended. You only get the one for the offer, your second one was from other offer.

    I received the bag, but I didn't get the companion. It's not on the promo tab. Any suggestions?

    I got the companion. I did exactly as said in this thread. I've had my renegade for about 2 weeks. If I remember rightly. At the claims vendor there is 2 tabs, check both of them and you should see him there. I named mine Reno and if anyone can guess why then congrats :)

    these codes only work through the ARC client. they are an incentive to download and try the new ARC beta.

    The codes won't work with steam or the regular launcher. You need to install the ARC client if you want the freebies. To do that you would have to go here http://www.arcgames.com/en/ and in the top right corner you will see the download link for ARC client. Install the client and it will automatically detect your game, sign in with your game account. Once done you then click your name in the top right of the ARC client. It will then have a drop down menu where you can redeem the keys.

    Same problem here about the "The Renegade Illusionist". I was able to redeem the Vanguard pack in the "claim" tab, i found the title in character, but no companion in the "promo" tab. I mean that this kind of companion is not there at all and not that i can't redeem it. Any clue? Any way to fix it ? Thanx

    there are currently two ARC promos. one gives you the title and the other gives you the renegade illusionist. i would verify that you've redeemed both codes.

    promo 2: http://www.arcgames.com/en/arc-news/detail/3031673-more-free-arc-gifts_

    check within ARC to see what promo codes you've entered. the first is labeled "Arc Welcome Gift" and the second is labeled "Arc Launch Bonus Gift". both promo codes give a vanguard pack so if you have one, you may just have one of the promos entered.

    wher the crud id the redeem key buttun its not any where. om the arc site wat so ever. and the neverwinter site say bate keys only wat gives.

    Please read the instructions. You have to redeem the codes via the ARC client, NOT the website.

    So codes have been redeemed but under Server and Character it now says N/A next to both promotions. The items don't show up with the vendor in game.

    It says the codes are only able to be used during that phase of the beta testing , the codes were up 3 months ago so maybe the beta testing moved on , you probably need a forum mod to find out for you.

    we have a confirmation from the CMs that these codes should be valid until the end of the year.

    it states:
    The existing code systems for each game will continue to exist through this beta, though we will also be testing our new, unified code system during the beta.

    During the initial phase of the launch, it will only be possible to redeem these new codes via the client by clicking the "Redeem Key" button:

    if you're just now entering these codes, if ARC accepts the codes, you should have the items. under the reward claims agent, the renegade illusionist would be listed under the promo tab.

    Except they're not there.

    All you get is this. With nothing in game.
