There definitely was a 5 minute warning. I wasn't paying attention prior to that though.

Yes, but in (American) Football, even after a 2 minute warning, the game can continue for another half hour. ;-)

    Time for dinner, anyways.

perhaps but how many cta's is this now? figured they would know the lag issues would be there, expecially having this issue with the previous ones. and 6hr maintenance is pritty bad something must of gone really wrong.
We've had 3 CTA's prior. Orc Assault, Pit Fight, and Straight to Helm's Hold. This one is the 4th one.

Thats good to hear. And just in-case anyone missed the update on the front page. We will be extending the event by 24 hrs and the end date is now set to 1/28/14 10 am PST. Thanks for your understanding.

    Works 10000x better.

Feedback: Better looking rewards and my favorite skirmish finally made it to CTA :)

Press M to open your map in Protectors Enclave and look on the key for Call to arms vendor lol

The vendor is located in Protectors Enclave where the Winter Event NPC was located. Here's an image if it helps.

Once in-game you can visit the event vendor in Protectors Enclave or click on the event logo on the right-hand side of your screen to enter the queue for it.

It works really well and the rewards seem very reasonable. Im averaging about 25 medallions per run. This puts a full set of weapon skins to just around 12 runs, or about 2 hours. This is a vast improvement from previous events where you could do 20 to 30 runs and still come up empty.

The best part however are the unexpected goodies, like the peg leg and the refiners cache.

The only real complaint is the companion. Why it was left out of the store and made a totally random reward seems to undermine the entire point of the store.

My main complaint is peridots in the refiners cache. It's bad enough we get them in the 7 day coin chests and adamantine coffers. It should really be Marks only.

Still some minor lag, but better than before.

While I do appreciate that the gear is in a store instead of getting random BoP equipment for other classes, why is the GF shield so so small. It's a child's toy!! Otherwise it looks great. I would use it if it were larger than a tea saucer.

And what happened to the fun little 3 chests that are in the normal map? Their absence makes the whole thing feel a bit empty.

    Off to earn more skins.
