While the maintenance is scheduled to last two hours it often lasts much less.
That has been the case in the past. I don't know if this maintenance will follow the same trend.
But unfortunately maintenance is unavoidable in order to get fixes sometimes. If the game is taken down more often than the normally scheduled Thursday morning maintenance it is because the fixes are too important to delay that long.
Keep an eye on FB and Twitter. Usually anywhere from 30-90 minutes.
Or if you're lazy like I am.. Just keep the launcher open. From what I gathered with Fiddler running it makes a check once a minute on the status. When it gets the word that the server is up the Server Status light changes to green and you can then proceed to login.
Sometimes that's quicker than waiting on the official word to be posted.
