The blood rubies aren't in the Zen store.

    Oh no they didn't.

That'll be the next few weeks of complaints for the forums. That they're even there in the first place.

Suddenly it becomes clear why the refinement system was changed. Opportunity beckons?

Will-O-Wisp: based on the description - it's unclear: is this an Augment Companion or a side-companion like all the others? The sample pictures give me the impression it's an augment, but the description makes that inconclusive at best. :)

Considering that the linked article has its attack moves listed, I'm assuming that it's a Striker companion. From the description, it will almost play exactly like the Sylph fairy companion from the Feywild account pack.

Cool to see the new Shou fashion outfit - I like the direction the game is taking with introducing other parts of the world since Module 2' release.

    Quick feedback:

Blood Ruby pricing is a little high. It's a decidedly better deal to purchase refinement items on the AH. This item should move better if priced more competitively.

Shou outfits are a pleasant surprise. Nice to see a wider variety of fashion and armor styles coming out of Module 2. All-around kudos to the art team.

Why wouldn't they do it? For profit companies seek profit. If they didn't think they could profit from the game it wouldn't exist. Items related to improving enhancements and stones have always been for sale. This is nothing new.

    Didn't say they shouldn't.
I know and I know or specifically no they haven't and yes it is.

Consider why the system was changed, consider the actual differences, consider the player feedback. Re-consider. I won't go I to details, no need and things like this will differ from the massive difference of outlook.

Why bother? No need to answer that either :)

I think the refinement system gave us stronger players an economical way to convert our wealth into what we actually wanted -perfect enchants.

That said, it removed a lot of AD from the game, rather quickly - so mission solved for Cryptic b/c there we too many people with 20 million or so in assets, just sitting there, trying to use it efficently. We all became convinced that making enchants the old way (using 85 coal wards) was just fundamently stupid, so people let bots or something acutally make them and then bought them below cost. Crypic had to fx the botting issue.

A lot of these updates are anti-botting issues, though I'm sure botting still happens.

That said, while I am not effectively broken (never have more than 1M AD since mod 2), the content is much better, more fun, and I don't feel the pressure to grind CN for AD anymore.

As for this companion... omg I want the active bonus so bad >.<

Anyone tested the will-o'-wisp CC bonus? does it add flat bonus just like wisdom does? (so if you got 15 wis (=5% CC+) whit this pet you would get +20% CC+, so a 10s CC spell would last for 12s?) thx for the anwser :)

. . . . . I own one now. :) The wisp is really awesome, visually and I like the Control Resist 25% bonus . Unfortunately, the "Control Bonus" 15% is a bonus to your base stat. I haven't found anything that gives a base stat for "Control Bonus." I have a base stat of 0, so sadly, 15% bonus to 0 is still 0. I'd really like to know what there is out there that will give my Control Wizard a base stat for "Control Bonus."

I wonder if that is a display bug actually.

Otherwise things like the WIS stat for boosting control or Orb of Imposition class features would also do 0.

Valindras crown from epic onward's gives a control bonus 166 basic epic up to 400 for legendary and I might be mistaken but I think ( although I'm not 100% sure ) that one of the class based artifacts on test gave a control bonus although that's difficult to check , I still have one on my ranger ( I checked and the Ranger class based artifact doesn't have a control bonus ) on test but I'm not sure if I deleted my CW that had one .

I'll look later ( I checked and yes I only had one copy of my CW with the artifact before it was removed and like a plank I did delete it -.- ) but I am quite sure the CW based class artifact did have a control bonus , if anybody else picked one up before they got removed maybe they can check.

. . . . . Interesting! I'll have to test out mine a bit better then. I was also thinking of going with the mage too but when I noticed my Control Bonus stat was 0 with no modifier, I decided not to.

Question for anyone who has both Will'o'Wisp 25% CR and Vicious Dire Wolf 50% CR.
Have any of you tested if Control Resist stacks? In this case 75% CR.
I presume it would BUT you never know.

    Thanks in advance.
