Can't wait for the first dungeon I do after i get my mimic , I'm going to open the first bad mimic I see so that I can watch them duke it out haha I'm guessing pet Mimic won't be able to hit as hard as the ones you find in epic dungeons though so mine will probably get splatted xD

For some reason Mimics are the only monster that can turn my
dungeons into slide-shows. Seems to happen in certain places -
even if it's the only moving thing in the room.
Can't imagine a battle having several companion Winter
mimics fighting a real one! (Though the revenge does sound sweet.)
Am hoping the companion version skips some of the 'dynamically shaded
particle effects' or I won't be able to play. Looking for computer settings to
help with, online atm.
Still gonna get one if it kills me

Playing the devil's advocate here, not everyone can do the battles or whatever, to get the mounts and companions, and not everyone who does do them will get them. I ran every one of my characters during last event to get mounts and companions and only got one mount. Not a real fair system.
On a brighter note, I'm thrilled for those of you who have been waiting on this and wish you the best of luck.

If the Winter event is anything like the summer festival event, all you need to get mounts/companions is to put in the time to play, no RNG involved. Collect tokens/coins to exchange for them.

This is a serious blow to my carefully cultivated image of extreme manliness.
Is there any chance that it will be a BADA$$ Faun?
Because I could totally see him having a bada$$ Faun.
Maybe with machine gun antlers or something?
Or it could breath fire!
All joking aside, the Companions sound great and I may find myself having to rethink my holiday plans (sorry about Christmas, Mom and Dad, but Fauns!!!!).

Could be interesting. Turn the regen bonus into a life steal bonus. Turn the healing circle into a circle of decay providing a debuff to enemies. Still with the same happy go lucky bouncing around for movement.

That fawn is adorable. Also really nice that it's a leader companion you don't have to upgrade in order to unlock its healing ability. Kudos for that.
