Have you ever been flagged as a spammer for no reason?

Well, I've just been silenced for 24h for sending recruitment messages to LFG chat. At the moment I feel just like...what?
Why the Brazilians, German, Spanish and other non-english guilds can use LFG chat to recruit people and I can't? I am russian and I find it very offensive.

Of course it might be just ignorant "Hurr-hurr-foreing gold spammerzz" people that just love to press the spamm button but what the hell! It doesn't even content any numbers besides +16 and 10+ in it, which mean that we recruit people only above age of 16 and 10th lvl!

You can translate this via google and see that there is nothing of the spamm in it.
Русскоязычная гильдия Bebilith bait проводит набор тифлингов от 10 уровня, любой специальности и происхождения.Главные требования добропорядочность, адекватность и возраст +16, ну и конечно же хвост!

I am so frustrated with this abusable system which was supposed to stop gold spammers, not people like me. And no, I wasn't sending them 2 or even 3 times in a row. I actually was really lazy and sent it like 4 messages per hour max maybe.

P.S And sorry, I might be wrong and I shouldn't posted it right here but I am very social and I just can't play this game without chat!

You might not have been marked as a "spammer" for gold spamming. you could have just been /ignored by enough people in the allotted amount of time, because your message is in Russian and they can't understand it. They might have gotten the idea that you were recruiting for a Russian speaking guild but since they don't speak it, they ignored you. Not because they don't like you.

of course you might have been posting up your message to often and annoyed the hell out of people because it was spamming the chat screen.

regardless, you have 24 hours to rethink your recruiting strategy. Use you time wisely.

Could be possible your message was right between a gold spammers message & enough people clicked your name as well. Or could be for a different reason.

I think some people probably get itchy trigger fingers when they see any message containing special characters. Other non-English guilds, at least you can usually recognize a word or two in there that makes it obviously a recruitment message. Cyrillic text, you do have to tab out of the game to translate.

That is unfortunate for you though. If it fits in a message, maybe you could preface your recruiter message with "Russian guild recruiting!" or something to at least give people pause.

Some people in the game think that the only allowed language is english
Why? don't know... but they do, I've seen the drama about that in zone chat too.

I kinda agree with you, but when you see two people in the party chat speaking in a language you don't understand and ignoring the rest of the party, or two people going on and on in the zone chat, doesn't that annoy you? It's a conversation that concerns only the two of them, why don't they use PMs? Even in real life, if you are in a group of people, it's generally considered rude to speak in a language that not everyone understands. Also, in this game you can create custom channels and add to them as many players as you want. There's no need to have conversations in the zone chat if the conversation is not for everyone.
I am not being arrogant here, English isn't even my first language.

The channel is called "Looking for Group" not "Looking for Guild Advertisement Spam".

did you tag it saying "Russian Guild Recruiting!" and then start using russian? If you did, then people are just mean and flag you.

In party chat, it bothers me a little. More if the rest of the party has tried to say hello or asked about expectations for the group and been ignored.

In zone, multiple conversations are already often going on at once, with diverse people participating in them or ignoring them depending on their personal level of interest. Adding multiple languages to that really doesn't bother me.

As for where guild recruitment messages go, since there is no devoted channel for that purpose, I think most people are tolerant of them in both LFG and zone, as long as they aren't repeated too frequently.

. . . . . Please contact Support. If abuse was done against you, they will take action against those responsible. There is nothing that can be done on the forums and it is against the rules to discuss in-game or forum disciplinary actions. Thanks!

Note: Please do realize though that LFG stands for Looking for Group, not Guild. This may be why you were reported for spam? Regardless, if you contact Support and they see no wrong-doing, they will remove any flags on your account.
