Masquerade of Liars achievements?

I got an achievement called Liar's Witness for talking to several Illusionists, but it isn't showing up on my list and the only clue that I got it was the popup. I'm guessing maybe there might be more achievements for the event so has anyone else gotten any?

Also what is going on with the skeleton? Yesterday during the live stream it was purple and the article about the event says it is purple as well, but now it is green?

    I noticed that too. But hey, it's yet another Striker, so no biggie.

    It kind of is a big deal as it gave the promise of one thing and then got swapped for another. The price went down to reflect it at least, but I guess we can expect this to be like the Pig, so inundated on the AH that no one hardly wants it.

    In the livestream, was this a companion shown in the store, or did Sominator already own it? Because he tends to upgrade his companions....

    I'm very sad about the skeleton too. So much so that I don't even want to do this LAME event! :( I wanted another purple companion, with the awesome stats that they showed on the Adventure Hour. Not this lame cheap imitation.

    In the live stream, it showed a purple skeleton for sale from the event vendor that you could barter for.

    wait I think I figured it out... of COURSE they said it would be Purple when it's really green, it's the Masquerade of "Liars" after all, the previews were just getting us in the the spirit of the holiday it all makes sense now ;)

    anyone know if there's a nerf for the drop rates for groups, like they did with the Waukeen event?

    I just hope this doesn't discourage them from giving us previews of events in the livestream in the future. Guess they just goofed on that. Hopefully it's still BoE.

    I cannot believe they lied about the purple companion in an event such as Masquerade of Liars...

    I find the event too frustrating and annoying, I wanted the Skeleton for fun. But to run around PE in circles 60 or more times is just too much ridiculous HAMSTER.

    It seems like a significant extension of the daily invocations.
    Not only logging in to play, but having to spend significant time interacting with NPC's in the PE.
    The right to command is earned through duty, the privilege of rank is service.

    Are you sure the achievement was "Liar's Witness"? I got a 25-point achievement titled "Mask Witness", with truncated text "Bear witness to the presence of..." It did not appear anywhere in the journal.

    It's possible there are multiple achievements.

    PS Any details on achievements or anything else about the event would be appreciated at the wiki.

    I had a cultist slayer achievement and title pop up when I logged in, but nothing for the event.

    Was probably that. Of course, I couldn't check the name when it didn't appear in my journal for it or any other achievements that might exist for the event. Which is what my topic is complaining about....

    Well, I'm glad you posted the thread. I was forewarned and immediately hit screenshot when the achievement popped up for me.

    If I had to guess, I would say it was for interacting with the Illusionists for every costume that they rotate through.

    Someone in the legit channel seems to have figured out the requirement for the Mask Witness achievement. It is for talking to one of the illusionists while in a certain transformation. The transformation appears on stationary illusionists. Don't know about the moving ones.

    Here is the transformation in question:

    Is there any achievement for visiting all the Illusionists / different transformations and gathering all Pumpkins?

    I think I have gathered a Pumpkin from every node in PE. There is 3 in every Roomed instance - PVP Hall/Transformation hall/Tavern/Library and 3 outside of the Mask - but only 2 inside of it???

    I have also gathered every quirky and normal door-ed one?

    Should have had an achievement for it and a countdown on the achievement log!

    Did you notice that the listed price for the purple companion (in the live stream) was 1800 tokens? I shudder to think about how much farming you would have to do for that.

    Remember that for the midsummer event the last days you cold get more petals (or the prices were halved I don't remember) each way there's a change it might happen in here too.

    I don't think either of those forms. I got the Mask Witness achievement while talking to the beholder on the backside of the market, though it's possible I got it on delay. I think it's something like talking to all transformations of one, talking to all of the illusionists, or even triggered when you've turned in x charms to them.
