Seriously?! The AH still cannot accurately sort?

Personally I do all my "searching" and "buying" through the gateway, and do all my selling through in game (mostly cause I am to lazy to search every item and look up the prices so I let it do that part on its own lol)
Out of all the MMO's I have ever played that had an Auction House, this game has THE worst AH, it is clumsy to use, does not sort, and can not keep track if an item has sold or not, getting the "unable to buy item, try again later" message is really unneeded. Also the filters only half work, some of the time, it reminds me of calling a support line for help on a Friday afternoon 15 minutes before closing. I tell it I am looking for an item with life steal, and max hp, i get items with defense and life steal, no max hp, or items that should be filtered out completely, this especially happens when I have "used" the filters to refine my search a few times.
I would like to see the ability to post multiple items, set stack prices at cost of each item that i define (ie 10 enchantments at 10 ad each and have it post the items for me at 100 ad per stack) define a stack size like 5 stacks of 2 instead of 1 stack of 10 etc. Search by player name would also be wonderful!

Gateway is a web page where you log like in the game and u can access vairous game options without login literally in the game.
You can do professions, check email, Auction House, guild.

Yeah, sorting is one of the most complex thing a programmer can develop... It requires such high programming skills that gamers should not expect it to work right off the box..;)

I personally hardly ever use the in-game AH to buy anything because I have always found its sorting cumbersome compared to Gateway's.
And yeah, a fix is in the works and all the p*ssing and moaning isn't going to get it fixed faster.

That might be true. Yet on the other hand, people new to the game and/or the forum might have a chance to understand the current state of this game and hence not waste time/money on it. Feedback is feedback, be it positive or negative. Can't deal with that basic fact ? get of the internetz pls and don't try and host or moderate forums...it's hilarious to watch the staff stumble!
On a side note. When a customer walks into my store and ask me for the price of a specific item, I would rather tell him the correct price in order to enhance chances of him/her becoming a customer by purchasing said item. Your approach to this basic customer service is:" Dere's a pricetag on it doh. See yourself doh!" It's done when it's done ? how are you still in business ?

went live on the preview shard yesterday. Should be coming to us next patch (hopefully).
That said, it's important to point out the Gateway sorts differently than the game UI. In-Game sort by price actually sorts by PPI (price-per-item) and the Gateway sorts by the total buyout price of the whole lot. It was nice to be able to do it both ways, but I find PPI much more useful and hope it's fixed soon.
Sorting by Name does seems to use PPI as as second sorting order by default, and I think that's the only thing that's kept the AH afloat through this issue.
