Lets disregard the arpen for a moment and focus on the set bonus which gives 2842 over 15 seconds to allies on direct healing and can be cast up to 3 times every 60 seconds.
This applies to Healing word, SunBurst and Soothing Light that I know of. Someone else would have to confirm any other heals it works with.
Anyway I ran it through a combat parser and it turns out that 10% of my healing came from the set bonus. It was very close to the healing that came from Sunburst in fact, only around 20k difference.
So how can this bonus be used effectively?
At its very basic you could say it increases the effectiveness of Healing Word. I have people commenting on how my stronger my Healing Word has been since I started using the set and I have been explaining to them how the set bonus boosts it.
When running through a CN or something and of course using Sunburst to proc Linked Spirit it also applies the bonus to up to 3 people, these people are the ones with the most HP missing so usually the CWs and/or TR. So these squishies are constantly getting topped up with HP for 15 seconds.
Another good use is for the times when you are using Soothing Light to heal, which is my primary heal in PvP now with this set. The great thing is with this set bonus all you have to do is channel Soothing Light for just half a second on someone and it will proc the set bonus.. like a slightly weaker Healing Word.
Now to go back to the arpen. I have both the fabled armor set and the fabled weapon set. The weapon set has 2 r7 darks, 1 in the symbol, 1 in the icon. This in total is giving me 11.7% arpen. And the good thing is, I have configured my accessories and my stone so I dont lose out on any other stats. 7k power, 35% crit chance, 2400 recovery, 33.6% damage resist.
Some of you may think the recovery is too low, and yes it is low, at a 15 sec AS cd.. Or it would be except.. When you sunburst you boost your recovery via Linked Spirit and Rising Hope, bringing the recovery much much higher.
So here you have some arpen to help you do a little more damage and give a little arpen buff to your allies.
Its a **** good deal in my opinion and I already salvaged my 2/2 templar/beacon because I am in love with this set.
I didnt try the new set bonus yet but making some math it will show us that Miracle set will heal much more.
I have 25k HP and i can cast sunburst every 8.6 secs which means by only using sunburst miracle set will give arround 12k heal per minute againts the ~9k Fabled set gives, and notice that im only counting with sunburts, if i count with other encounters the number would be a lot higher. About sunburst gives u 10% of ur total heals.... something is wrong lol for me sunburst is the top heal power i have but i cast it all the time.
I read somewhere that armor pen will increase our Repurpose Soul heals and if thats true will be a good buff to our heals but i still dont think the new set worth 10000000 MC runs to get it Same deal with the weapon set, i wont definly waste so many resources to grab the weapon... also im not a crafter anyways.
So, for me fury of the fey wild didnt brought anything for me in terms of gear progression, although i will try to get the armor set, but will take a while before i get all the pieces... and is just for colection hehe

Lol I knew someone would come along extolling the virtues of the MH set. This isnt about the MH set its about the fabled set =P I never even used the MH set and healed better than those that did.. This set I like more than the 2/2 I was using. The heal works different to MH also.. more specific, Its nice.
i keep seeing players want the new set.it appears cryptic screw only gfs and gwfs with that set because it's practically useless (t2 gg set seems to better although of the "no additional block bar" which appears to be working as intended once again)
I actually find the Fabeled set to be quite nice but I prefer a 2/2 with it add the Fomorian main and offhand and its a pretty sweet deal. Still debating on enchant for my Fomorian tho....

Yeah I was using 2/2 Fabled/Beacon for a while as I was building the set, it was pretty nice. The set bonus is too nice to pass up though IMO
mmm my issue with the set is the consistency of the effect.
i.e. if you use sunburst, does it use up all three charges at once and to who? Does it proc regardless if the target has full health or not? Will one charge be used up on yourself every time you cast a healing spell?(in that case ... it's effectively one heal increase/60 seconds on a party member with healing word). Does it have an internal cooldown (because otherwise all three charges will be procced at once at the beginning of each 60 seconds)?

So I tested both Miracle Healer as the new Fabled set. I did MC 2/3 runs with MH and the Fabled and ran ACT.
The Healing from MH is mostly around 6-8% at your party members.
The Healing from Fabled differs between 4-11% at your party members.
What I noticed is that the party member who received the highest number of Healing Words also recieved the biggest bonus from the Fabled set. Makes sense for what the tooltip says.
Since I am a fan of Healing Word I will stick to the Fabled set, though for solo pve I recommend Miracle Healer since MH heals at every encounter used.
I hope the devs fix the armor pen stat at the new set, well at least I read it was broken so.... Since repurpose soul should benefit from that (heals from repurpose soul were the same from MH as Fabled).
The loss of recovery for not using MH is not really a big point. My stats are now:
Power: 7.3k
Crit: 3.8k
Armorp: 0.7k / 1.1k (depends which belt I use)
Recov: 2.5k
Def: 2k / 2.3 (depends which belt I use)
Recovery only 2.5k for not using MH, well I hardly notice the difference. That 1,5 second extra can be overcome easily. However I am in doubt if I should change some power runes for recovery at my Stone.
I think, if you like Healing Word you are better of with Fabled. But to be honest, both sets are good and real big differences aren't there.
Also have to consider that the effectiveness of MH scales with your max HP. Low HP cleric builds might be better off heal-wise with Fabled.
One thing I do like about the idea of using Fabled is the ability to proc the additional heal with Soothing Light.
I am curious as to how much of the extra healing gets spent on the caster and how the "charges" of the set bonus are distributed. For example, does a Sunburst cast trigger the effect on all targets? If so, does it instantly consume up to 3, or does it count as a single activation because it all procced off of a single power? Cryptic isn't fond of exhaustingly detailed tooltips.

i have 22.5k hp. As far as i can tell, but will test it, a sun burst hitting all allies doesn't count as 3 stacks. I think it can happen 3 times on every party member each minute.
But I will test it now if i can find some decent players for CN :P. Allthough I must say I rather use Divine Glow instead of Sun Burst, if the party isn't standing in reds etc..... This way i can control the healing from Fabled 100%. Since Sun Burst may activate healing over time while party members are full health.
Thats a lot of grinding. Isnt it 2-3 Seals of Dark Fey per boss. Armor items range from 140-180 each, a set of 4 you are talking 600 Seals!
FYI you can only get the gloves from the DD chest so you have to run a full MC to get the gloves (I've run it over 50 times with no gloves from chest yet). I have more than enough seals leftover to buy the hands if it were possible after buying the other 3 pieces.....dam you luck!

I had the gloves and salvaged them because the truth is it's a rubbish set(granted the set bonus looks nice though).
However, I want them now and am kicking myself. I worked out a slightly underpowered but still viable spec to be able to run the new set while still healing cn/mc etc with PuG's. (why do I want them, simple it looks better on my character, doesn't make her bum look as big :P)
One thing is for sure the DC is still very badly broken and in a state of disrepair. Not to mention the latest whizz bang dungeon having absolutely zero value for most players while harboring one of the most ridiculously difficult dd chests to attain.
The issue I'm having with this 4 pc is that every tick of healing word is using a stack and that astral seal heals are dumping stacks as well. This means all 3 stacks go out immediately and do basically nothing. I will have to test again to see if it's using a stack on targets that are at full health but if I remember correctly it doesn't. Just like 4 pc miracle healers bonus, this heal CANNOT affect the caster, making it useless solo. A few changes could make this bonus very nice.

Im pretty sure I have healed myself with MH set.....
The language on miracle healer set says heals allies. I had assumed this was like all other similar wording where it wasn't healing yourself. I haven't used miracle healer set to check that. New set currently doesn't heal yourself.

Mostly I did 3/3 at DD as I was lucky to get a good regular group with gwfs who can 2 shot Valindra when she comes down, 2 gwfs, 2 HV cw and me did the trick 90% of the time.

MH does heal yourself and it heals a lot (~10% of your total heals). As I tested it, MH and Fabled both heal for the same amount, sometimes MH heals more sometimes Fabled. BUT if you use HW (like I do) Fabled is in my case the way to go.
Yes it takes a lot of MC runs but with 3 CW's (HV) and a TR you just steamroll through the dungeon. I got the gloves in my first run on MC during DD (just lucky I guess)

honestly if you did that much MC's, you are bound to get gloves. Ive gotten a lot of gloves from the chest, including all of the people i do MC with .

The fabled set is yet another cleric gear piece of junk. It does not heal you, ever. I have tested it, so it is worthless for pvp, since healing yourself is the most important thing a dc can do in pvp. It wastes its procs constantly on people with no damage or only has 1 proc, hard to tell which is the case, but does it really matter? The net result is the same; it yields maybe 1 real proc per minute, making its healing buff nothing but another cryptic joke on dcs. Since armor penetration is the only real advantage that the set has and armor pen is broken for clerics, the set is gimped beyond all compare. Typical for the shoddy programming and design of every piece of cleric gear since the inception of the game. Putting my DC on the shelf and 1 step away from putting this game on the shelf altogether. Should have just rolled a CW since every junk piece of programming in the game works to the advantage of CWs and every glitch disadvantages DCs.

Once DC arpen is fixed and Templar's Domain is addressed, this set could be viable for a DPS DC in PVP. Would probably be quite squishy, though.

please confirm-
Does the fomorian set work on self? y/n _I tried solo content with ACT running and the log didnt have any entries about fomorian heals.
With ACT, how can i see how much the set is healing for in group content?
What is the amount per tick that the set heals for?
Which specific heals proc Fomorian set? - set is unclear to me just says "direct heals"
Thats a lot of grinding. Isnt it 2-3 Seals of Dark Fey per boss. Armor items range from 140-180 each, a set of 4 you are talking 600 Seals!
460 seals for 3 pieces. I got the gloves the second day of Sharandar, so I held on to them for a loooong time. It took me 143 of 2/3 and 3/3 runs to get the gear. If I hadn't been farming for shards I don't think I would have bothered but I am glad that I did. I do really like the set bonus, in that you can control what is essentially a targetable regen side effect to your spells. Giant mob spawns it can be harder to target, but it's great in end boss fights. Takes a bit of practice in making you keep an eye on the proc symbol by your name. I don't care that it doesn't proc solo given that I heal enough with Sunburst and Aseal. I have (pretty sure) procced it off Bastion of Health.
Just finished the 460 seals yesterday (saw 5 sets of gloves drop while working on this; also saw 4 fragments and won 2 of 'em along the way). I like the new set, and I like the 4/4 bonus. I'm finding it more useful with Healing Word, though the parties I joined today were full of panic-like-chickens-with-heads-cut-off characters that made targeting a pain (so I switched back to Bastion for a while). Still getting use to the proc, and having trouble noticing the trends with any consistency. I suppose I could run a combat log, but I'll probably just keep doing the trial-and-error method to see how it's working.
The hat (at least for males) is kinda ridiculous looking, though. I feel like a giant bottle opener in it. So I disabled those visuals.
I died the set with the Ebon pack and it looks pretty good. Red accents also work well for this set.

Since I only have 2 of the Fabled pieces (Fabled Iliyanbruen Chainmail & Gauntlets), I've been running around with a 2x2 of it with Grand Templar for most of my grinding (never invested in GG Prophet Champion) on the Preview server. Even for those that find this a HAMSTER set for healing (compared to MH), you cannot deny that it is very nice for doing ones dailies (2x2 gives almost 800 ArP). ArP appears at least partially fixed with the new path + content, so it will be a viable choice for PvP'ers and for any healer wanting some oomph while doing dailies. Like others, I run chains, glow, daunting for daily quests and it is just awesome in that.
Side note, I am tempted to finish the set, but if it ONLY works when using Healing Word, Bastion and Sun burst it seems rather silly. Can anyone confirm that these are the only encounters that proc it? Are there any others?
