If we are full geared with T2 set, why would we want to do DD now with the BoP changes?
I understand what you want to do Cryptic, but you need to give the geared players a reason to continue to want to do DD. Two initial thoughts on this are add new items - desirable ones - not just to the chest, but to all bosses (minor and final)(and make trash mobs drop stuff too). And/or make the salvager pay handsomely for items - not a paltry 2-5k, but more like 30-60k (depending on tier).
Your game already has an issue with retaining geared level 60 players for any lengthy duration. Now, without a reason to do DD, more will surely depart.
NO point is there to be honest?
I've got all my toons fully geared (3 of them earned manually) others i got gear from AH, pets, enchants and a healthy AD amount all sitting here to do what?
If they take away the resale value of the extra items i earn, it's kinda pointless to do anything, i mean i can't really enjoy pvp since it ain't balanced at the moment either so..
DD is like any other mmo where you can earn marks for gear, except we get to do it in NW every few hours... no other 60 content to even bother with now if this BOP change happens.

The funny thing is that for 99% of these items the salvager will give you more AD than you could get for them on the AH anyways. For the other 1%, their price will skyrocket, and you'll get rich running DD's when the bonus ISN'T up because the no-bind versions of those items will skyrocket in price.
You wanted a reason to run dungeons when the bonus isn't up, and you want the items to be expensive. Seems like a win-win to me.
they dont need to make feywild best in slot, it would make the other dungeons undesirable (like T1) in a 2 month old MMO, i dont think they want to do that.
Feywild gear is already better than T1 stat wise. It also has higher total stats than most of the current T2, it's just that some of the numbers are in unwanted stats or the set bonus is not that great. I am not a gear guru, that's why I come to the forums and look at the advice others post on here. When I pick gear on my own I quite often pick the wrong sets. To me, the new Rogue gear looks awesome and it seems like it would increase DPS due to the poison. It seems like it would be BIS for a rogue (not perma-stealth). But I am more than likely wrong and I will wait for the gear gurus to weigh in before I change everything around.
The problem i have with BoP is this: it makes the keystone event of Neverwinter only worth doing if you need a setpiece. I do 3runs per DD, two or three times a day, with the sole intention of auctioning off whatever i loot in that chest. Most of the time it is junk belts or accessories, but sometimes you are lucky and it may be a swash helm or something of value. That is the fun in it and that's why i do it. It's how i play the game. That avenue to fun is being taken away and that is a problem, for many many players.
All that is how the game stands now, with unimaginative gear and for the most part 2or 3 item worthless loot tables for bosses. Introducing extensive loot tables of a load of new accessories, creating armor/weps that compete with set pieces, and giving trash mobs a rare chance of item drops (like rare crafting recipes (and make crafting useful), Tymora boxes, shards, or whatever) would go a long way to making DD worth doing, character customization something real, and improving the overall fun of the game.
PK awards T2 loot, and with the coming patch, your choice of t2 loot.
I don't see any evidence that that'll happen. We have a rather tepid developer comment that people seem to have interpreted to mean, "Yay, we get to choose any T2 item we want any time we loot a DD chest!" Actually, though, all he says is that you'll get your choice of three different set items when you would have received a tier item anyway.
What that means, to me, is that we'll still have lots of filler in each chest. But instead of having, say, a 3% chance of acquiring a particular T2 offhand in Pirate King, we'll have a 9% chance of receiving a T2 offhand, and only then can we choose which offhand we want. There's nothing in the developer quote to suggest that Pirate King will suddenly become a one-stop shop for all T2 items. There's nothing in the developer quote to suggest that acquiring the drops we want will suddenly become trivial. Here it is, for reference:
Dungeon Delve Event Chest
We’ve changed how the special chest from the Dungeon Delves event rewards gear. Previously when the chest rewarded you with a piece of Tier gear for a particular slot it would randomly be one of three sets, each with a different stat allocation and play style focus. Now when the chest rewards you with a piece of Tier gear you will be able to pick which of the three sets you want! The chance of getting a particular slot remains unchanged so it will be much quicker (and less up to the whim of the RNG) for you to complete the specific set you are looking for!
Emphasis mine.
EDIT: It seems ranncore has since corrected his view on this matter. My apologies for not seeing that sooner. Still, I'll leave this clarification here just in case someone else thinks that the developers are going to give us guaranteed T2 loot in post-patch DD chests. There just isn't any reason to believe that, and yet a lot of people apparently do.
The only problem I can see from this is people who decide to be messed up and decide to kick people before they can get to the chest and kick people when something good drops from the boss that is sellable. Of course the only solution to that is make it so that people can't be kicked or put a kick system in place. Like, once people engage fighting the last boss, it locks the party in UNLESS someone logs out in the middle of it, so everyone can get the loot. This would be needed for PuGs though.
