how can you even release a pvp mode so terribly broken...

2 minutes into the game the team that has a slight disadvantage generally leaves.
rogues and mages are completely broken as in op broken.
guardian fighters are completely broken as in bugged broken: the gapclosers almost NEVER work if the enemy is not standing still... every enemy has some skill that gives them immunity in some way while the GUARDIAN has a shield that is depleted after a few hits and only works for the front...
i charge at an enemy and he dodges right after and my attack STILL HAS NO EFFECT EVEN THOUGH I HIT HIM PERFECTLY
oh not to forget the stuns that last for HOURS and there is almost NOTHING you can do to get rid of them... at least add an item or something that gives you the ability to cleanse some of this ****
fix your game god **** it! i know the pvp mode doesnt give you any money you greedy <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> but if you want people to stay you better start fixing some ****ing bugs instead of worrying what to sell next on the zen market...

1 - Please learn to write a paragraph that's readable format.
2 - PvP was not like this during beta and only recently turned into a ghost town due to the change of Glory items no longer able to be vendor for Gold. So the only incentive is gameplay and players quit if they feel the game is a waste of time. Competitive Premade vs. Premade arranged games are still fun.
3. It sounds like you are a Guardian Fighter and having an issue with TRs, CWs and GWFs. By your *****ing sounds like you are a new player to the game and inexperienced. Your lack of gear, enchants, proper game mechanics makes you believe classes are broken or over powered.
4. There are no stuns that last for hours only seconds and some classes can chain CC. Guardian Fighters have the LONGEST CC chain of any class. Bull Charge + Front Line Surge + Daily gives GF nearly 10 Seconds of CC chain.
As posted in #3 your lack of experience in the game and how classes work is your frustration. Coming to the forums and *****ing about OP classes will not improve your in-game skill. Go play more and learn how classes skills work and search forums for GF Builds.

Someday this guy will realize how ridiculously overpowered GFs are in PvP. Actually, he'll just whine on the forums and/or quit the game before that ever happens.
ah yes. that kind of comment was missing. now the holy quintett of stupidity is almost complete!
I did notice the GF charge ability misfiring alot, might be better to make it aimed instead of on target (like the GWFs leap).
I have also noticed that sometimes you will dodge an attack and still be hit by it even though the teleport/slide/roll animation has started or the opposite (people dodging/evading even though you landed the attack) but I put this down to lagg.
The PvP in this game is fairly well balanced for a new game though, I'm yet to be 1 shotted by a rogue in full heirlooms (i'm looking at you WoW).
2. Join a guild (very difficult if you constantly whine, so I suggest working on that first).
3. Learn how to PVP.

sure, 2 mins into a game you get roflstomped by a guild with greater tenes or people with really good gear and people will leave after that encounter.
gfs have villains menace which gives them immunity + the OP shield which blocks through smoke clouds if youre into that.
rogues arent broken at all, the only thing i hate about them is the deflection chance + 75% of my damage gone which is ridiculous. other than that theyre easy points.
cws are a bit more harder if they know what theyre doing and can get a perma stun duration off on you but any scrub cw will get pumped so hard and so fast by a GF.
my only problem with the charges is that i have lag from being in aus and i dont know where the other people are from so when i do threatening rush or the charge its a guaranteed miss unless theyre already proned by me and then theyre dead anyways
i think they get lots of $$ from pvp. people have to get 110% mounts somehow, might as well zen shop

GF's do just fine. Wrath and I(Alysin Chains)q'd together in a pug and this was the result. Hes not using cheese build, or has bis. Still using rank 5 crappers.

i just know what u talking about... whenever i got stunned last for ages, and when i stun someone it last like micro second... no metter who is what class
look, my friend... im not saying that there is no mistakes in game mechanics... and devs working week after week to balance classes more corectly... but insted of QQing, learn how to play your class... just as CW cant hold perma control, or TR cant kill everything from sneak, or DC cant hold infinite healing, or GWF cant (nvm, dont know GWF well :P), GF cant hold shield 24/7 and be invincible...
if u want play pvp and never being killed, then u chose wrong race.... actually, u choose wrong game...

the thing is i am usually the best player in the team... i am not only complaining about my own class but other classes aswell and the amount of cc that is way too high in this game (yes also the cc of the guardian). but your intelligence doesnt allow reading and understanding a post right? you see the bad language and me being angry and immediately think that it is because i am bad right? you only hear what you want to hear and you only write this nonsense because it makes you feel better or because its the cool thing to do... but it just shows me how weak you are

The gap closers do not work, because you're intended target has moved out of the limit of its range, this can happen even when u press it while they are in range, but at the exact second u pressed it, they happen to step out of range. what happens then is u hear the sound of your skill and get rubberbanded to and fro from where the target used to be. This happens ALOT, due to the fact that you(and alot of other ppl) use the gap closers when the enemy is distant...nothing wrong here, thats what gap closers are for anyway. Take a lil adjusting and experience to judge when it's too far.
The issue with "i hit him perfectly blah blah" sorry to say, thats on YOU. Your latency to be exact. On your screen you look like u registered a hit, but in reality, they already dodged. Upgrading graphic card or ram, cpu speed etc etc may help, BUT if you're just in a region that has ****ty connection....then, thats all she wrote.....Nothing can help you.
The CC effects and probably the lack of your own cc OPNESS is not being felt, due to PROBABLY(i'm assuming here) my second paragraph. You chain cc as a gf depends somewhat on your timing too. If you're lagging, and the guy already dodged...Thats a bad state for you. If your lagging, and on you screen the wizard/rogue is running towards you, but infact in reality has already reached and thrown their cc....Thats bad for you too.
Easy test of lag. Press 6 and immidiately press forward, is there a delay where you RUN before your horse appears?

I've said this many times and it's been echoed by others; team composition is everything in pvp. I've run up against pre-made teams that thought they'd steamroll my pug and quit after they see it's not going to be an easy victory. It's the nature of some players unfortunately. They're probably the same people that spawn camp in shooters. It's a <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>-shoot as to whether or not you'll get a team that has synergy. Being in a guild or rolling with a group of friends is absolutely the best way to do pvp matches or even dungeons for that matter.
while i thank you for the first informative post in this thread i still think the gapclosers should at least go the intended distance even if i dont hit the enemy. that way i can at least catch up to some people
the bad thing is that even though if i have a guild or a premade team the enemy is still going to leave if it gets a little bit challenging... all those spoiled brats who immediately leave if things arent as easy as they are used to
Unfortunately if this was the case, they would have to take away your at will gap closer. Because if you could spam that without a target.......that would truly be OVERPOWERED. Unlimited dodge/teleport^^
You are a GF right? So if you if you don't want to recieve cc you just watch other players and when they start casting a spell you hold shift, problem solved...
Yes if you are against a premade team they are going to have something like 2 GF's 2 CW's and a TR and they will chain CC the **** out of you, it happens. Maybe the game does need some kind of diminishing results on chain cc, I could agree with this. But you can't expect constructive answers when your question is formulated like "OMG f this game, f cc, this is stupid, cc lasts for days, all classes OP etc."
You can get really solid answers on the forums, you just have to ask them a little more professionally

Fact of the matter brosef is **** isnt going to change...much.
At the moment, GWF's are a slobbering drool fest of button mashing and even a GWF with **** gear is very very hard, if not impossible 1 vs 1 to kill, with a person with moderate gear and decent skill. Its very hard "NOT" to be good in pvp with a GWF. Everyone knows it, not much a dude can do. Get over it, do your best to learn how to fight them, run away..or make one yourself.
Its like this with every class.
I have a 60 DC, CW, and TR.
Little bugs, mechanics etc irritate me when I play each class.
I play my rogue, obviously hit people with Lashing, see the graphic hit them, and yet they dodge 1 second, sometimes longer, after they are hit..and somehow, they "dodge" it. Bad connection? No, buggy dodge bad coding? Yes. Do I rage quit and cry that other people are OP? No...I move on, and keep playing. PvP is still fun
The more I PvP, which is 99% of my time played. The more I learn ways to counter all these specific class's, and specific bugs/buggy mechanics etc. Starting a thread on the forum crying at Cryptic because "you" feel like everything is broken isnt all of a sudden going to get **** fixed. Its obvious by how long so many bugs are in this game. I agree with your frustration, and so does everyone else. Again, ya gotta get over it. If you arent having fun playing the game, simply stop playing. There are many games out there. It is after all a very new game, the likelihood of things getting fixed is high. Could it take months? Will the population totally crash and fail? Maybe, who knows. All we can do is hope for Cryptic to make the game more enjoyable, and keep bringing out new content. But no matter what, there is always going to be the flavor of the month class/build, and there will always be something that "you" in general, feel should be fixed/changed. Its like this in every single mmo out there.
My only advice is to watch a ****load of videos of people playing GF's in pvp. Try and learn some stuff, learn what to, and what not to do. Then, watch videos on every other class in this game pvp'ing, and find out what they are doing, I guarantee if you have even the slightest of comprehension and understanding, you will start getting better.

you may have a point there. but i was very angry when i posted this thread and it still contains all the points i would criticize in a normally written post. i think people have a way too big problem with a little foul language these days anyway
