Fact of the matter brosef is **** isnt going to change...much.
At the moment, GWF's are a slobbering drool fest of button mashing and even a GWF with **** gear is very very hard, if not impossible 1 vs 1 to kill, with a person with moderate gear and decent skill. Its very hard "NOT" to be good in pvp with a GWF. Everyone knows it, not much a dude can do. Get over it, do your best to learn how to fight them, run away..or make one yourself.
Its like this with every class.
I have a 60 DC, CW, and TR.
Little bugs, mechanics etc irritate me when I play each class.
I play my rogue, obviously hit people with Lashing, see the graphic hit them, and yet they dodge 1 second, sometimes longer, after they are hit..and somehow, they "dodge" it. Bad connection? No, buggy dodge bad coding? Yes. Do I rage quit and cry that other people are OP? No...I move on, and keep playing. PvP is still fun
The more I PvP, which is 99% of my time played. The more I learn ways to counter all these specific class's, and specific bugs/buggy mechanics etc. Starting a thread on the forum crying at Cryptic because "you" feel like everything is broken isnt all of a sudden going to get **** fixed. Its obvious by how long so many bugs are in this game. I agree with your frustration, and so does everyone else. Again, ya gotta get over it. If you arent having fun playing the game, simply stop playing. There are many games out there. It is after all a very new game, the likelihood of things getting fixed is high. Could it take months? Will the population totally crash and fail? Maybe, who knows. All we can do is hope for Cryptic to make the game more enjoyable, and keep bringing out new content. But no matter what, there is always going to be the flavor of the month class/build, and there will always be something that "you" in general, feel should be fixed/changed. Its like this in every single mmo out there.
My only advice is to watch a ****load of videos of people playing GF's in pvp. Try and learn some stuff, learn what to, and what not to do. Then, watch videos on every other class in this game pvp'ing, and find out what they are doing, I guarantee if you have even the slightest of comprehension and understanding, you will start getting better.

i do know how to play my gf though and i play him fairly well without trying to brag. the gf isnt my only problem... its the general state of the pvp and that people can just abandon games without any kind of penalty! that is my biggest problem...
i did stop playing pvp (except at the moment to get some of the glory gear or the dailies) because i think it is not worth playing at the moment (and finding a guild is kinda weird.. i never know if the guild is active or not.. i joined one with over 100 members and there is never anyone online)
you may have a point there. but i was very angry when i posted this thread and it still contains all the points i would criticize in a normally written post. i think people have a way too big problem with a little foul language these days anyway

When I first started playing the pvp in this game I thought the CC was too much too but I have learned how to play 'this game' and I don't mean that as learn to play I mean seriously they give you built in tools to get away from it and around it etc. I really did at first hate it but now I have actually gotten to love it because it does make it more challenging and also gives some skill to pvp instead of just button mashing. (or do they say face rolling :P ) Anyway, just some input. You can dart away from most CC if you respond fast enough. Or you can run away I am notorious for RUNNING AWAY lol. I just run away, bye bye, see ya! It does not always save me but many times it does.
the stuns that last for HOURS and there is NOTHING you can do to get rid of them
When playing my GF alt in PvP and getting stunned/CC-ed, I use the "so what?" feature. Ok, I am stunned. So what? Oh, I am cc-ed. So what? I stay inside the circle while a CW is bombarding me from a cliff. So what? I can even sit. With or without shield, my regen, DEF, HP, and various hp-giving passives keep me alive. The opponent dares venturing into my circle? I bump him away, not making much damage either but who cares, the counter of the blue team is still rolling.
My green GF and his two keys (charge/bounce) is undoubtedly more successful in PvP than my purple gwf, his higher enchants and his elaborate use of keyboard and mouse. The only problematic opponent is another GF, in that case it looks like ping-pong.

You mentioned having trouble finding a guild. If you are on Mindflayer, shoot me an ingame tell. My guild X.o.X.o is always looking for good people. We dont claim to be the best, but we have many elite skilled players, and are very active as a guild.

and the shield doesnt really block all the stuns i noticed

Get in, knock them to the floor. If you see a Rogue go into stealth just anticipate him moving behind you and take a few steps back and include him in your knockdown fest. Even in stealth you can put him on his face.

i do deal a lot of damage but you are right jumping into a team of enemies is not the best idea
while i thank you for the first informative post in this thread i still think the gapclosers should at least go the intended distance even if i dont hit the enemy. that way i can at least catch up to some people

On a side note. I think its the most ridiculous thing in the world, that a Tank...With a shield holding in front of him....can somehow block damage coming from behind him, not sure what the designers were thinking on that....Laughable imo

I'm a rogue, but what i see good gf do, when we go invis near them or they happen to notice, they shield up and just keep spinning their screen.
I've adopted that policy when on my gf too. works like a charm. Shield up, spin the screen like you would while playing on your mount. saves you from the back hits. Takes LAGLESS connection or super lucky timing to catch a hit on a gf doing that.

1 - Please learn to write a paragraph that's readable format.
2 - PvP was not like this during beta and only recently turned into a ghost town due to the change of Glory items no longer able to be vendor for Gold. So the only incentive is gameplay and players quit if they feel the game is a waste of time. Competitive Premade vs. Premade arranged games are still fun.

Most of your problems sound like latency, the only solution is to get faster internet, move closer to the server, or play for long enough to recognize patterns in other players movements and try and stay ahead of them. Play on a point and don't try and chase blinking wizards all over the place, you should have some TRs on your team for that. Obviously your going to be screwed if people on your team leave, but that's not a game issue, that's a players being cowards issue.
as for this thread..... it sounds so one sided, the Thread Starter has closed his mind, despite his lack of obvious experience, no amount of constructive criticism or advice will help.
CWs should be the GF's anti class in the first place, but seriously a tank can 2-3hit a cw easily or chain CC him much better than a CW can chain cc any GF.

When you finally learn the mechanics of your class, you will realise there are ways to counter everything mentioned in your newb rage.
That said, timing is something you learn or dont learn. Mages only get 3 dodges, clerics 2, and tr are made of paper.
Ive found the gf one of the more forgiving classes to play in this games pvp.
Read the forums, read the small print in feats, powers and stats.
