It is three weeks before the update. Interesting how much these problems, fighting, frustration and no idea of what is going to happen will affect the players and how much it will hurt this game.
Personally, I don't log into the game anymore. Just come here from time to time to see the news.
For now I don't want to play my TR or level a GWF (the next flavor of the month).
Too much uncertainty.

Wouldn't it be the most simplest way to balance the game to make PvP only armor sets and PvE only armors?
That is an excellent suggestion.
A third equipment view for PvP gear; and all equipment being PvP/PvE/Both affecting where it can be equipped.
This can be used as you say, to help balance classes by providing flexibility where one aspect simply has zero impact on the other.
It can also be used to remove the P2W element of low-level PvP.
Rather than making all of these single target damage inflicted reducing nerfs to the TR (especially re: PVE content), why not simply stick it to the permastealthing PVP folks by changing only the duration of stealth as follows:
1) With the new patch, pretty much anything the TR does now quickly breaks stealth. Encounters, At-Wills, you name it. Great, I'm all for it.
2) Since attacks now break stealth, logically (and per D&D), inaction should do the reverse, i.e. either drastically extend the stealth timer (it only lasts about 3 seconds into an encounter post-patch) or make "stealth" simply a passive that is auto-active when not attacking. In D&D (and real world), an assassin could stay "hidden" nearly infinitely by simply doing nothing but lurking in the shadows somewhere, waiting for that perfect opportunity. This allows the very squishy and opportunistic TR to continue to use his class-specific power to avoid getting creamed once the battle is going against him (run away!!), while instantly revealing himself/herself when launching an attack.
The client has ceased working on my computer I blame it on Windows 8. The other clients in my Arc work just fine but Neverwinter says no. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still have the problem somebody please help.
I enjoyed this little event. Felt more rewarding than the grindy one at the launch, and more interesting than Lliira's. Wouldn't mind if it'd lasted a little longer, or perhaps even became a semi-regular thing (Tymora should bless good adventurers again in the future, right?).
As for the lag, reducing the number of people per one instance of Protector's Enclave should really be done permanently. It always had too many allowed, whereas some of the questing areas had too few.
I see that the Gear Score is not working again,i LOST GS with my GWF and my TR wen i added new enchantments to weapon on TR and armor on GWF,rather than getting 1k or more added to my GS,i had it taken off my GS. wtf is that all about??????? pls try and get this problem sorted again. apart from that i'm really enjoying the game.
I am unable to patch to the latest version. Usually the launcher auto-patches the game when the client is launched (or sometimes after I log out for some reason??) but this time the client just says "ready" like everything is normal. That would be great if the game was actually patched/updated. My version of the game is behind the current one but the launcher does not seem to recognize that. This is the second major patch that my client has failed to "see"....anyone have any answers?
