Allure. Better starting quality and cheaper to max level(might = 500k AD + 1.3mill AD to max level, allure = 700K AD at 350ad/zen and 750k AD to max level). Also the Allure's icon, neck, ring slots > Might ring, ring, belt slots

    Highly depends on your class/build.

Most classes: Allure - power, crit, recovery and defense are fairly important to most builds.

    Conqueror GF: Might.
Due to the fact guardians regular gear sets there defense so high you suffer SEVERE diminishing returns, any kind of defense on a pet is overkill.
Might is pure offensive runes, big bonus from that lone, but it goes further:
It gives power, recovery, armor pen and deflection - All of these are important stats to a GF on a pet. Crit is not so much because GF literally have zero feats/ability that rely/increase crit, so it's a relatively weak stat for them compared to other classes like CW/TR who have +Crit severity feats or auto crit abilities like lashing blade.

And no, Icons are not better then belts. Because all of the good icons are power crit and recovery. Not ideal stats for a gf pet due to:
    Crit as I explained.
Recovery: It's good but pet bonuses are lost in pvp, where recovery is most important - so you want your recovery bonuses on your main gear.
Power: Conquerors double power, but only from main gear, so its less ideal to have it on a pet if you had a choice.

With a belt you get to choose exactly what you want. I use an armor pen one. There are no icons with as high armor pen in the game.

Plus there are other good options for belts which aren't available on icons. EG: You can get some pretty high regen belts. Regen is one of the most underrated stats in the game.

My GF with stalwart set + Seal + Regen belt on pet is essentially invulnerable in pve due to the huge amount of regen that grants (close to 2k), no cleric needed.

I generally go offensive tho as I mentioned - GF are just naturally very tough anyways, so offensive pet is pretty ideal.

I think the upcoming earth stone may end up being the best cleric one.. Especially ones who like to run with pugs. As clerics still end up with quite a bit of agro, so the extra defensive bonuses it grants may be ideal. (Though hopefully it appears in the zen store, as the current price tags rather steep if the stones the only thing your after in that pack)

Also cats most ideal for CC spec'd CWs imo. - vs Alure You give up a tiny bit of power for increased recovery and crit - two of that builds most important stats.

So each augment has there purpose, theres no one best.

I'd go might if your defense is ~>3000 without one. (and you're willing to pay the higher costs)

Alure's also an option if you're crazy rich and able to afford around rank9 runes.. As an rank9 eldritch in the allures defense slot supposedly can offer more total stats overall (and crits better for a gwf then gf).

Though in the same vein, the upcoming earth stone may offer double defensive slots, which could mean double eldritch rune bonuses.. Not sure on that tho, don't think its been released on tst server yet, so no one knows its stats.

Personally avoiding that, as to me over an 100% stat bonus from a pet seems possibly unintended to me, so may be nerfed at some point.

As far as I know the Stone of Earth is not a companion so I don't think it is going to have slots for runestones.

I just bought a ioun stone of might, for my control wizard. I was thinking of getting to rings that offered defense slots, and there is a priest belt that has defense slots, so you get 3 offensive and 3 defensive. I was going to transfer my defensive slot belt, and move my defensive slot ring to the might stone. Then i was looking or considering, putting some defensive slot rings that have defense and deflection with +600 HP bonus. I currently really only have like 250 deflection and i was wondering if it's worth it too boost that stat at all. Most of my defense is in life steal right now, with my life steal at 1980. My damage resistance is at like 1400+ so i was looking to boost the deflection up to 1000 ish some day. My friends always telling he runs into wizards that are supper hard to kill, and he is a GWF, so i was hoping to someday figure out how to be super tough to kill. What kind of armor anhancement do you recommend for improving the defence. I don't really do PVP cause I always get my *** spanked, so mostly PVE here looking to be more tough in epic dungeons.

Out of curiosity why are you not considering the Cat companion?

Doubt you'll get an answer, this is very necro-ed.

All considerations of which augment to go with are subject to re-evaluation since HPs now transfer, making those belt slots look more versatile than ever.
