Nay. Actually you should be the one to L2PLAY your class. You are one of the countless losers who couldn't face the fact that a skilled TR outplayed you. Skilled and TR can't be in the same sentence that currently doesn't exist. Maybe after the changes to there bugged broken class we will see some skilled TR's I can only hope. Negative comments is the way to go as well cause in a game. A game its getting balanced.

If you actually analize what was nerfed it is not an efficient way to just nerf permastealth.bait n switch and stealth strike were not altered. also most powers that are considered only useful in pvp like imposible to catch smoke screen bloodbath were also not altered.
the powers that were altered seem to be the powers most used in BOTH pvp AND pve lurkers duelist and cloud of steel these three powers are in almost every build out there both stealth and crit focused.
so what i think is they saw the anti TR posts and datamined the TR picked the top three powers and tried to bring thier numbers down to the average. the problem is a LOT of TR powers other than the favorates are kind of weak i am hoping they ease up or buff weaker powers but im not holding my breath.
also to those people snickering at rogues. you know if people keep crying for balence CW and GF you might be next even if you wernt OP before the dps bar has dropped. Since i play all 5 classes i say stop the nerfing! strengthen the weaker powers noone uses.
Like i have said before, u can't be a killing machine on any other class in pvp.
My rogue just one shots alot of people if you do it right.

Stealth, lashing blade or "backstab", and cos or throwing knives have been staple skills for any "rogue" style class in every game that had one no? But now these skills are overpowered and need to be nerfed...
GF's (which is what abomination is, and it's pathetic that he's crying for these nerfs) can 1 shot CW, TR, and DC easily knight's challenge + lunge.
CW can cc and then easily take 80% hp with 1 ice knife
GWF can easily kill a target before they get up from takedown and are not cc'able
All classes are powerful in PvP, all classes (cept DC) can have huge burst damage if specced correctly. But hey lets remove the BURST damage from the ASSASSIN character, that makes a lot of sense. And while we're at it, they aren't allowed to be invisible either, that's only the mechanic that their class is built around.

My TR is lvl 30, I play a CW, and even I can see that these changes are just stupid. CW can kill a TR just as fast as a TR can kill a CW, CW can just do it from 80' away...

LOL in your sig you list that you have a 60 GF, if you aren't a killing machine then you're bad, and I'm guessing you've never seen a sent GWF in PvP before?

I love all my toons, i prefer my cleric overall of them, but when i feel the urge to change for something to do, it's the rogue.
Simply because you can own in pvp like no other class can, lol.

Well, to run into a good group is neither here or there, or not at all for weeks on end.
So that's not really going to help anyone.
There is a small minority of great pvp players that specialise in it and a much bigger community that play pvp that are going to be owned.
Point is, for the majority of matches the current rogue will beat all if he knows how to play, for those who don't, oh well the can just mash buttons and still get silly damage.
Like i have said in a few threads covering this subject, go and play pvp before 60 and it feels much more of a match, soon as you hit 60 with TR it just feels OP.
I feel they could of maybe scaled something for 60pvp, i think nerfing straight away is alittle harsh, but we'll see, might be cool to see other rogues approch it with different builds or skills instead of the one-trick-ponies we see all to often.

Are you serious? My GF hit 60 like 2 days ago, I bought trash gear from AH, don't even have full stalwart's yet and I can 1 shot people that aren't heavily geared. Only way you could not be able to 1 shot is with full tank/protector build. Even with garbage gear using trample the fallen, proning enemy, knight's challenge + lunge 75%-100% of enemy health gone, 1-2 cleave's or threatening rush will finish them if they aren't dead.

They won't nerf anything. Those useless abilities will continue to be disregarded by all rogue builds, and the ones that were necessary will now be rendered less effective. I expect this to happen for two more patches at least. Then another class will become the whipping boy.

Though there's no denying that its going to seriously hurt a rogues dps, so maybe buff up its base damage to compensate, but keep the consistence to avoid intentional stack dropping.
The stealth change is <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>... I can't understand what they are thinking with this.. a lot of feats and abilities are dependant on staying in stealth to gain the benefit. Mostly the sabatour tree, which is about to be made worthless.
Lurkers... this one is horribly... I wouldn't even take it as an encounter now, nevermind as a daily... Rogues now outright have the worst daily's, and the slowest AP gain to boot.

Lol I have 11k GS as conq GF, once I get 15k I won't even need knight's challenge, just prone + lunge = instakill. Not to mention GF can live through 10 times what a TR can but still put up as much burst. You are comparing a fresh 60 still using some blue's and very far from BiS to a TR with Tene's and Vorpal b/c thats the only way they can kill people that fast. Yet still my GF could kill that TR b/c I can block 100% of his damage and kill him within 1 prone rotation.
That's actually sad, looks to me like TR's need a buff... Oh wait TR is weak against fighters as they should be, but strong against cloth/leather as they should be, sounds about right to me.

I don't think anyone is complaining about the death of the perma stealth build, we care complaining that the nerfs are going to hit the rest of us as well. I personally hated the perma-stealth build, it was gimmicky and annoying. You would either counter them, and they were worthless, or didn't counter them and you were defenceless. It was no fun either way.
I personally never had problems with stealth build rogues since I roll path of blades, which shreds the stealth bar and there low hp.
Ofcourse, the Lurkers assault change is going to cripple me because crit severity instead of damage won't synergise with path of blades atall.. it can't even crit, crit severity is not a good stat for how I've built. I focused on power and armour pen, before crit.

Perma-stealth deserves a nerf because it is truly unfair this I understand. But like I said, it takes 3 skills & some dumb luck to 1 shot somebody. If you are against good players, you need good enchants on top of the conditions I have mentioned in order to 1 shot. Bads don't want to admit that they are bad I understand but to accuse a fine class to be OP is like framing an innocent man in court.
rouge stealth is op. but why everyone says rouge is most op? if they will nerf rouge after that u will see that every class is op. they all have smt. like gs vs tr if u get jumped by gs u are dead cuz he have more cc then cw... he stun u 4 times and hits more then any cw. i think rouge need to be nerft little bit (stealth part) as well as i think gs need to be nerft to. and cw upgraded

Because the ideal dungeon make up. Is as many rogues as you can get your hands on and a CW for adds. There is no balance in PvE which is a huge problem. Class roles still aren't on a even playing field and dungeon make ups and how the content is done has been broke for awhile. I hope with the new content coming out these changes that maybe dungeons can and will be fun to play for everyone.

The rogue adjustments were needed for PvE just as much as PvP in my opinion. You don't have to like my opinion but I would like to see some balance for this MMO and for PvE and content now and hope its established for when we get more content and end game content.

Interesting that my opinion is the same of 1,000's of players and Cryptic feels the same and is making adjustments because of that.
