They are boring. Nobody does them. Nobody likes them. They don't pay off.
Thank you.
Clearly you are doing it wrong.
I never have issues getting into skirmish events completing the multiple times
and recieving not only Lots of AD but also Items to sell for coin.
Many people enjoy them and run them regularly.

I mean, if you have a fast party, you can run a skirmish at 60 in like 7 minutes, and get like 5-6 of them in, which is like 6000 AD if you don't include the extra AD ground drops that sometimes appear. So I mean, it's really not that pointless. I like the speed element of it and the timer.
WOW if it takes you 45 minutes to run one skirmish....
I do 2-3 in an hour easily.
No you speak only for yourself not the majority.
Depends on the level. And the team you get put with if you random it. I've spent greater than 30 minutes just waiting in queue for the level 60 skirmish. And that was during a skirmish hour. But I can run the low level Blacklake one 12 times in an hour.
I don't want skirmishes gone myself. I want them improved. If they want to get the masses running skirmishes other than Blacklake, then they should (imo) to adjust the skirmish hour rewards based on the level, average run time, and difficulty of the skirmish.

Isn't it great that cryptic invented this thing called choice. Now people who want to do skirmishes can do them, and people who don't want to do skirmishes don't have to do them!
Fine. Go waste 45 minutes for 1000 AD. I speak for the majority, I am sure.
I rarely have a skirmish go longer then 15 minutes. Granted, there are exceptions like, "Garrundar the Vile" and "Battle for the bridge." Those two can be painful. But I find the others fun and well worth the time. In some ways I enjoy them more then dungeons. You can beat up a boss with less trash, less annoyances, and less time involved.
Now if only the rewards where better and you had more choice over what one you could do.
The majority of us would probably prefer having the skirmish event, if the Zone chats are any indication. I try to time my skirmishing so that my daily skirmish lines up with the skirmish event, so it actually works out well for me. And since I usually don't have time to plow through multiple skirmishes for my daily skirmish quest on my higher-leveled characters, the skirmish event is a decent substitute. Far better than nothing at all.
Except that you can run only one skirmish over and over again at 60 because there is only one available.
Sounds like a lot of fun - same instance - 5 times in a row. Umm... no thx.
Why after so many patches it's still impossible to enter previous skirmishes with a party?

How do you run low level skirmishes with over level characters?
There is currently no way to run out leveled skirms.
Probably they don't want level-12s in Blacklake roflstomping the skirmish 10 times in a row by bringing a level-60 along with them. The solution for that would be something akin to epic versions of skirmishes, though.

It's fun because you work with the time, but maybe that's just me. I love running them. I can get in 5-6 in the time limit anymore with a premade team. You can run past certain points to maximize speed and get more AD. But, I will say this, it would be nice to have other skirm options, not the same one.

Except even a L10 can roflstomp blacklake 10 times in a single skirmish hour.

Perhaps change the main mechanic at end game. You get 5 bosses and two teams, each team starts off at opposite ends of the map(will have no interaction with each other). Each team must kill 2 bosses to go onto the the final boss who resides in the middle of the map and can only be reached by two gates on either side and can only be opened to the ones who downs their second boss first. The middle/final boss would drop epic tier loot. the losing team wont lose anything because they still get the AD from the daily, as it is, its stale and uninteresting imo.

Yeah, Blacklake wasn't the best example for that, but I couldn't remember the average level for any of the other skirmishes so I went with it. I think the point I was trying to make is still valid for skirmishes after Blacklake, but if I'm wrong feel free to argue me.
I for one like the skirmishes. They add a break to the routine of leveling, plus a good way to earn AD's. And btw, please don't say that you speak for the majority, it only makes you look stupid OP.

Why on earth remove something that has potential? Improve it instead!
Open all the skirmishes at 60 lvl, make them harder and more rewarding like dropping t1 and t2 loot. Change the event to similar than the DD event bonus reward, like the chest for finishing. More things to do and enjoy the game.
i like doing those for 15 mins, it is only way to earn astrals beside than that 45 mins which could need some "bigger and better" rewards.
i had too many that "quits" and made it unfinishable without getting replacement adventures, that DCUO's grouping with dropping/rejoining was way better format.
most of time we get 'griefers' that only get in to loot and then bailout.

+1
/10chars.
Wait.. No they're not.
I think the point they're making, though I like Skirmish, is that it's taking up space and thus time on the daily log for various events.

Lol, you waste time every time you sit to the game, kid.
Though, I'm newb so I don't know things.
