You remove the AD reward you're going to have a lot less people PvPing. I have nothing to back that up other than my personal opinion. I know I won't bother with it at that point. On the bright side I have 4 characters so that will save me a lot of time each day.

Well hopefully there will be more PvPin that like PvP. With a good PvP reward system that would be the point. I am not saying I don't want PvEr in PvP I just want them to be PvPin cause they are there to fight and have fun and at least try to earn a suitable PvP reward. If we lose players because of the 4k AD removed then those are the players we would not want in there anyways.

Not to mention servers will be merged I honestly don't think that will be a problem just weeding out the ones that don't do anything or actually care about PvP in my opinion.

I like my AD reward...I'm not a hardcore PvPer...I *almost* never quit even if half my team is bots (the exception being if I'm the last one left, I'm not a complete HAMSTER). I've found the *worst* time for me to try PvPing as a "casual" player is during the 1 hour Arena PvP event. I encounter more guild goon squads decked out in Tene's during those times. :( To give the pug group I played with this morning their credit, no one quit even when it was apparent we were going to get totally owned within the first minute.

I'd probably still PvP even without the AD reward but it's nice to have all the same.

That's really a poor way of thinking about it. At least the times my team isn't being facerolled by a premade t2 geared group I'm quite frequently near the top of the scoreboard at least for my team. With an attitude like that you'll drive away just as many competent people as those who don't even bother learning the rules. I don't think that helps anyone.

Personally I don't think I have much to worry about because I don't think the support is there by the playerbase to have the AD rewards removed. PvP has issues nobody denies that. This isn't the way to fix them. They've already implemented penalties and they haven't worked and in fact probably made things worse (see leavers issue).

If you like your AD daily reward you don't like PvP. Period. The reward just brings the afk, botter and bads out to play.

I see bots, I don't see any afkers that aren't bots, and I don't see a shred of logic in your original post. Wanna simple fix to the problem? Enable requisite gear scores for pvp matches. They will still bot, but they will have to buy gear or farm for it and the bots will actually have some use in the matches. Right now there's a staggering number of botters, which if suddenly gone would skyrocket the queue times for matches especially in the leveling brackets.

I feel the same way as you do. I'll try and fight to the end, but if I'm the one one left who isn't AFK, I'll just stop playing and dance party at the campfire.

I'd probably still PvP without the AD reward, but only for the glory reward. If both the AD was removed and the PvP items became BoP, I'd probably avoid PvP and do foundry because it's more interesting.
