If your t2 dungeon group had cleric, rogue, cw, and GF and you needed 1 more which class would you choose considering all of them were of equal skill. Answer this honestly and you will get to the meat of the issue.
Why are you even asking? obviously a wizard. If 1 CW fails the group fails so u have 2 for the safeties.

Rotten if you stopped reading there you clearly do not have a 60 GWF, but hey I'll try and dumb it down for you. AOW 4 piece set is a pain in the A.S.S to keep up and worthless in that regard. Now the 2 piece set bonus is a nice boost, add in another 2 piece set from say vigilant set and that is about the best the GWF can hope to receive atm. The 4 piece set bonuses for GWF are useless atm because of what they take to keep up. You receive a much bigger bonus from mix and matching sets. understand now?

ok ok i cant even type that without almost falling from my chair laughing.
I've tried very hard to make people understand GWF are the gimp class in the game... if for some god awful reason a GWF has out damaged you then one of a few things may have happened.
1. you had a heart attack and died at entrance to dungeon.
2. you laughed so hard that your group brought a GWF to a dungeon that you fell over and broke your computer.
3. you passed out at keys and have a asdf stamp on your forhead wake up and find your group couldnt finish the run with the GWF as dps and disbanded.
4. You fail at life and have no clue how to play a DPS class PERIOD.
There is currently or in the future no reason to bring a GWF to a group. you want dps? bring a CW or TR, you want to suppress adds? take a CW. you want to tank? GF
Absolutely no reason atm or in this future patch to bring one. The entire class needs a rework. Anyone with half a brain and without brown stinky stuff on their nose would know this. Many posts have been put up with a TON of ideas on what would make the class worthwhile. Sadly there seem to be alot of people who do not know any better and think they are ok as is. Until WE as a class community UNITE and as one let the devs know they SCREWED UP and have absolutely NO idea what the hell they are doing with the class then we will not get any improvements.

Now THIS is a sentiment I can get behind. I think I've started 3 different threads about this in just the past week. But I think most folks have given up for the most part and have rerolled TR or CW. I'm going over TR builds myself right now... they look like fun, even after the nerf they got to some stuff like bleed and some OP skills. The bleed nerf wasn't as bad as everybody thought it would be, apparently... ingame tests on the test shard have proven a slight drop in damage for the bleeds, as well as a more challenging means to keep them going, so it's not easy mode anymore -- at least as bad as it was.
The reason I didn't roll a TR before was because of how everybody said it was no-brains gameplay. Now it will take some effort, which is perfect for me.
Well as I still am not going to cry that the sky is falling, I can at least respect themore presentable arguements being presented by Judicas. I'm done arguing with rotten, he proved my point in his posts better than I ever could.
However, I still want to see the results of this patch in action. TRs got hit hard, very hard, seeing some posts they do less than GWF's now. If that is true or not I don't know. GFW may be on equal footing with TR plus be able to offtank when needed. Or maybe the new group will be GF, DCx2, CWx2 and we can ***** again till they put up invis walls.
What I know I don't want is the knee jerk reaction patches wich scarred WoW where you basically had the class of the month in raids.
Either way I'll adapt and survive or move on. I prefer playing the big sword wielding warrior in every game I play, however I also have a 60 CW, GF, TR on top of my GWF and it takes less than 35 hours to level a new one to 60 if I need to.
Plus ESO will be out soon so there will even be more options to fall back on.

And not only you dont know how to keep up the 4 items bonus you use the useless items too..Jesus..seriously? vigilant? set? oh yeah 450 recovery so good..TITAN SET IF YOU WANT TO HAVE 2-2 ..jesus...do me a favor delete your char and start new because what you just say there hurt my brain!! Pretty much this^ I mean when i enter dungeons and i see that we have 2 GWF me and someone else i already know that we are not gonna finish it!! First because the reason you just say *wizzards knocking packs off edges* and the lack of CC that the GWF have..
BUT HEY THEY BUFF LEAP hahahahaha i dont know what is going on..ANd the not so fast if you use it on AOE your damage is lower THAT ACTUALLY make me loled hard..i dont know GWF have only one AOE encounter and that AOE only hit for 1.3k damage at lvl 60 (before armor) so imagine with armor it hit for nothing..and its AOE skill who get more damage if you hit single target? WTH CREATORS of this game? IF i want single target damage i will use Indomitable Battle Strike who hit for 7.7k damage..that why i say they just need to complete rework him and not buff are gonna help him if the buffs are like that..

With titan you have no crit so unstopable is actually dropping your total damage. hrmm lets see no armor pen no crit what else? ohh the extra 1800 hp and 15% move speed umm... yeah so ok your better at running away? So lets see why titan is good for GWF on pvp? Well because FIRST in order to deal damage as GWF you need to enter in melee range that mean you will eat a hell alot of damage so that mean if you dont have deffence and deflect you will die from the CC chain in 2 seconds..Plus you only need 4 items for the GEAR to work so that mean your sword/neck/waist can give you enough POWER armor pene and critical so learn before you talk!!! so if you have any more questions and you are to shy to ask and you try to pretend that you know something by saying stupid stuff and forcing me everytime to correct you just ask me i will help you no need to doit like that its pretty much pathetic!!!
Why go for survivability? U'll still die in that Titan set even before u enter melee range with me.... 6 GTE anyone.. love those.... best exploit in this game for pvp and it costs only 7 mil to get full set.
